To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that I didn't like was the elevator. It was only room for 3 to 4 people on the elevator. And it was always full, especially during the evening hours. We had to take the stairs every evening and we were on the 6th floor!
I love the location. On Canal Street, but away from all the big crowd. It was nice and peaceful.

Within easy walking distance of central New Orleans with a good number of restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was good.

United States of AmericaHad to reboot tv for remote to work and one elevator out of order made things a little slow. But at least you had one as being on 6th floor might have been a bummer. Bathroom is hard to maneuver as door has to be closed to get to shower which you have to squeeze between toilet and door.
Breakfast (good lay -out0 Dog friendly was main reason for staying. Fact that your location was so close to french quarter was a double plus
