The room needed a lamp next to the sofa; half the room was dark because of a lack of lighting. The second door lock was broken. No instructions on how to use television; a list of cable channels would be a plus!

Room was quite hot and even though we attempted to lower heat, it appeared it was set. Felt like 80 so we did not need blankets in December. Toilet seat was broken so had to be very careful when using.

I know they are still in the process of remodeling but do not put someone in a room that is not completely done. The door into the room liked to stick and you had to push on the door and turn the handle at the same time. I had to call for someone to turn the A/C on. One of my bed lamps would not work and was missing a lamp shade. Apparently, there was also to be a headboard light that was not installed yet. The bathroom was cleanish. I could see spots of "dirt" in the sink and spots in the shower. The shower you could take a bath in while you showered, and the temperature control was not installed correct on the shower. I thought I was giving myself more cold water and it got hotter.

The breakfast was good. The staff of the hotel were all nice and easy to work with. The location of the hotel was nice for the purpose of my visit to Orange Virginia.

Bed very high and hard to get in off, we used the pool there was wires coming out of inside of the pool from the light laying out side on walkway of pool . Ice machine not working

The temperature of the room was either extremely hot or absolutely freezing. You couldn’t adjust it. Something was clearly wrong with it. But I was way too tired to call to the front desk and complain, then switch rooms. So I just got up a bunch of times and switched it. It was very frustrating to say the least. And there was no parking. I had to park way in the back. I ended up hurrying inside because I thought I heard something.

I loved the guys at the front desk. They were very friendly and funny to say the least.

Pillows were awful way too soft although it looked like you were redecorating. Walls were not finished in our room. Would have been nice to be told what time breakfast was we were going to eat before check out but is was all put away so that sucked.

The entrance light in the room was burned out. The other interior lighting was dreary, with one lamp unplugged. The radio/clock/alarm didn't work. No wall art. Renovations were underway throughout causing clutter and lots of empty space.

The bed sheets had hair on them. The frig smelled. When we ask that the sheets be changed they gave us the sheets to changed them ourselves. We ask her tissue paper they took their time bringing. We ask for clean towels and face towels. They only gave us 2 towels. I seen a cart in the hall and went to help myself to the things that we needed. We was there 4 days and not 1 housekeeper knocked on the door and ask if we needed anything. And the breakfast was a joke..Really..

The breakfast was a rather sad affair. There was little attention paid to making sure that the few items available - for instance, coffee - were available. The selection was poor. It would be fair to say that no one would lodge there for the food or service.

Could have used a hot breakfast, the decent options outside the hotel at 6:30 am were minimal. Maybe that wasn't this hotels jam. Not sure anything really needs to change. I don't think the hotel is going for being super fancy and that's what we were looking for: Clean and comfy.

Nothing Fancy. Clean and in a good proximity to our event. Staff was very pleasant. Enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. Just what we needed. A clean place to relax and get some sleep. We'd definitely stay there again!

There was not one thing we could name that we didn't like.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had...hands down. The management and staff could not have been more helpful, kind and understanding. When they found out we would have to get on the road before we could get breakfast, they packed us a take along selection of breakfast items. If you want to train any future employee on how to offer hospitality...send them to this hotel.
