Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast bar was nice & the hotel room was super clean! Housekeeping left a little note on our table & everything was well stocked. The bed was super comfortable & the overall atmosphere there was very good! Pretty bedroom window views too 😊

Price was higher for the second night because of a car show in town that day. Price almost twice the cost of the first night. Seemed out of line to us.
Awesome hotel. Friendly staff. Great location. Very clean. Great little bar with fantastic pizza. We highly recommend this hotel!

We booked an extra night by calling the hotel prior to our arrival. We were told that we would have the same room for the entire stay. When we arrived at the hotel, arrangements had not been made. They did have a room available but we had to move after the first night. We were there for 4 nights. We asked for towels twice & never received any. I felt that the goal of the staff was not to achieve total satisfaction but to “get by.”
This hotel is comparable to most Comfort Inn hotels we’ve stayed in. The property was nice.

I was disappointed that the breakfast was not serving more than a pick up at the desk, and then what I did pick up was not correct: but didn't find out until I got back to the room. It took so long to put the stuff in the bag that I was sure that it was cooked, got up to the room and had frozen breakfast burritos, not omelets. I have a gluten allergy so didn't get anything for breakfast as by the time I got back to the room, the desk was done serving.
The location was beautiful. Great view, wonderful being able to sit outside and listen to the stream, and sounds of nature.

Value for the money a little low, breakfast was very bad, a bag of store bought muffins or burrito. For that price should have been a full breakfast. Too far from actual Deadwood.

Should have the arcade room cleaned up and fixed up - but that only a want not a need.
Clean, friendly staff, nice way to serve breakfast while still keeping covid restrictions. Air hockey table was great.

A bit more variety in the breakfast, But understandable in these days of the pandemic
The breakfast was average the same three choices every day. The location was just outside the town of Deadwood, close enough to visit the town, far enough to be away from the other tourists. The staff is excellent always ready to help.

Even though they had some food available at a bar, it would have been nice if there was a full service restaurant on the property. The food at the bar was good, just not a lot of atmosphere.
Breakfast was good. Might be nice if the hours were extended a bit.

No breakfast. Only had oranges the whole week for fruit. Very cheap
Terrible breakfast, the garbage outside the front door was always overflowing. Had a chicken sandwich in the lounge that was cold and not cooked.

Was looking forward to getting the welcome duck as we had at our last stay ( it was such a FUN surprise) - Also being on the first floor, we unfortunately had quite "active" occupants above us - next time will know to ask for room on 2nd or 3rd floor. Missed the breakfast array, but realize that is the fault of COVID. Might suggest mixing things up a bit - like offering cold cereal in boxes somedays - same things for a week did get old.
This was our second stay at the Comfort Inn in Deadwood and it was just as much of a pleasure as the first time we had been there 2 years prior.- Room was clean and comfortable, enjoyed having the option to go down and enjoy a cocktail at the bar and mini golf was fun as well. Having the trolley was a bonus. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

No usb ports, couldn't open window for fresh air it was broken and taped up, the windows has more finger prints on it than FBI has on file. Wall in bathroom hadn't been cleaned.

It was impossible to close the drapes on the window. We had to use a couple of clothes pins to block out the overhead lights in the parking lot.
Overall, the accommodations were good.
