The alarm that went off worked us up it lasted for a very long time where we overslept and wasn’t able to make it to breakfast because of it and the room had this weird smell to it

As soon as you walked in and throughout the hallways it smelled like weed and was not very likable. When we came back from being out our card didn’t work which was very odd. There is no ice machine where you have to make your own ice which is uncommon.

at first worrying that I smelled pot in hall, but later smell was gone. so they must have air out or something- means to me that some cared enough to fix that, other cheap hotels were bad the whole trip. that smell seem temporary. the rooms were very clean nice and NO smell, but old stuff in them that could use replacing. didn’t bother me but I could see how I could bother others.

No breakfast. Wondered about the safety when I saw the plexiglass In reception.

Close to highway, shops and restaurants. Went for a funeral for one night so it was clean and comfortable enough for our purposes.

You could tell the facility was short staffed. The desk clerk wasn't sure if our room was available at 4pm because of only 1 housekeeper. The elevator floor was dirty. There was no remote for the tv, the one we received from the front desk didn't work. Couldn't use the dresser because 2 of the drawers were broken. No light in the refrigerator.

The room was spacious, there were enough towels, the bed was comfortable, plenty of outlets.

The free Wifi wouldn't work, couldn't get computer to connect. Asked for help at front desk and was given a phone number that was disconnected. Room smelled like smoke, despite no smoking. Very dated. Breakfast there was no coffee at 8am, and no one around to refill.

we got what we paid for. Updating furnishings would help but then it would be more expensive to stay

the bed and linens were good. the bathroom was good. The stove and fridge were operable but old. the sink faucet was spray only which made it awkward to fill any containers. The MW and AC were fine

When I to into the room I noticed that the bathroom light was not working. I reported this but in the 3 days of my stay this was not rectified, so I had to shower and shave in light cast into the room from the hallway:( The room did not have crockery and cutlery in the room as standard and I needed to ask reception for this, which was provided although not particularly nice quality.

The room was fine in size and the bed comfortable. The reception staff when I checked in (Philesia) was very helpful, others less helpful (though not unhelpful). Workspace was sufficient.

There were no cutlery, dishes, glasses, cups or paper towels in the room, everything we needed we had to go to the front desk to ask for. And we were given a room on the first floor which was the last available room, we were almost turned away even though we had booked a month in advanced.

The walls were super thin. The bed was lumpy and the sheets were really stiff and bothered my skin. A ice machine would have been nice.

The breakfast was disappointing, and the hallways needed cleaning. There was a lot of noise from other tenants. There was no reading light.

There are a lot of restaurant options around the location, and it's easy to get to the highway.

The bathroom door didn't close, and the room definitely needed painting. The ceiling above the front desk was leaking. The overall quality has diminished at both Rochester locations to Motel 6 level.

Had to use a blanket we had in the car to get warm, the room was set really cool (60F) when we arrived and it took quite a while for it to get closer to room temperature (around 72F). I overheard another guest remark on this as I was checking out.

Very clean, plenty of room. Good selection snacks in the vending machines and they were easy to find. Very soundproof walls and ceilings, once someone noisy in the hall went in a room (noisy room, audible when their door was open) and their door closed, it was quiet again. Room in the kitchenette for our own breakfast supplies.

The hotel needs updating, All the furniture was in poor condition. Coffee pots were not in rooms, you had to go to front desk to get them. Shower was in poor condition!

The fact that it was about 10 minutes from the RIT campus!

no swimming pool! breakfast was terrible, coffee had grounds in it and tasted horribly! all they had to eat was stale hard peanut butter bars that would brake your teeth on my day of checking out there was nothing to eat! I told them when I got there about kitchen sink leaking and 2 days later again still not fixed ! floors were filthy!Not all of staff were friendly at front desk! Did not make you feel Welcome!
