The floor of the elevator needed a scrub… It was extremely dirty and smelled bad… Probably two or three scrubs. But just the elevator.

Well 1st of all. My room was not ready til after 5. The ac didn't work, there was long blonde hair stuck on my socks guess no one vacuumed and there was but a lil tissue in the bathroom. I was every disappointed.

The casino attached to it seemed outdated. The members card would not work on some of the games. and did not have no poker games video or table games. and the door leading from the casino back to the hotel. When you put your room key in the door would not work we had to walk around outside to get back to our room.

We like to Jacuzzi the cleanliness of the room, and the bed was very comfortable

The temp throughout the hotel. (Outside my room) Was warm and not cool on a very hot day. Was hard for me to breath with long walks to get anywhere in hotel during renovation.

Room was wonderful. Was able to set the a/c low to get the room cool.....employees were nice and courtesies. Breakfast was delicious too.

I booked a suit through booking.com but when we arrived I was given a regular smoking room. I was disappointed due to the fact I could not get a different price on my room when I paid more for a suit that I did not receive. In all the front desk staff was great.

first off the breakfast is trash! they can do better! secondly the elevator omg the elevator ride was so scary because there are only 4 floors in the hotel once the elevator gets to the 2/3rd floor it starts to shake terribly and it’s so terrifying it takes like 15 secs once it stops for the elevator doors to open if your AFRAID of elevators like I am it feels like your heart is going to beat out your chest ridding the elevator. third we only booked this hotel because of the pool and hot tub. the smell of chlorine once you get into the pool will suffocate you it was extremely strong ! after 30 mins me and my family had to exit. the hot tub was not working we could not get it to turn on so tht was a bummer and for the price you pay a night it makes no sense. once inside the casino you had to wait literally 1 hour before you could get a drink by that time your ready to go if your not a heavy gambler. the cigarette smoke smell once inside the casino is very very strong because the allow smoking inside the casino. there are no blackjack or other gambling tables only slot machines.

the room was very nice as far as presentation and comfort omg the beds were so comfortable. the room gets freezing cold so good thing no problem w the ac. ease of access to the casino and racetrack. you literally can enter the casino thru the hotel it just consists of a lot of walking to the front of the casino once you enter it from the hotel because all other entrances were blocked off.

The water was lukewarm and the jets didn't work in the jacuzzi. The elevator was a bit scary and shakes when it reach your floor. Breakfast was mediocre.

Very clean, spacious rooms, nice pool, comfortable beds and pillows, soft towels, clean room and facilities, friendly staff, good location, very cold fridge. Quiet rooms. Plenty of lighting and outlets.

Had to ask for bed linens for the sofa sleeper and they gave us 1 pillow and 2 flat sheets. No blanket. AC in our room didn't keep the room cool and it was cooler outside than in our room. The cost of the room was way overpriced. But we had to have something to fit two adults one teenager and three young children and there was nothing else available but two nights was $515.

Breakfast included, location was close to everything and rooms were quiet. Two tvs were a plus. The small seating area in front of the hotel was nice to drink coffee and most of the staff were very hospitable.

We did not book a handicap room and was giving one. The room had beer bottles under the bed and stains on the bed clothing. It was obvious they had not cleaned the room properly.

Phone lines were down couldn't book except online made it much more expensive. We have stayed here in the past quite a few times and were able to negotiate better rate. Booking online has become a rip off! Evangeline Downs is close to home and if we would like to get away for a couple nights to gamble or see live music at a reasonable rate we look forward to that. Please don't price yourself out of us staying again we've always had a nice stay. We're both retired and on a budget.

The elevator makes a weird 'rubbing' sound when stopping. Hopefully, it'll be fixed soon.

The staff was very prompt in responding to our needs. The AC was not cooling the first night we were there. When we reported it, it was switched out immediately😊
