Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms need lots of updating. There are some rust on some lamps and they need new mattresses

The room smelled musty and there was chewing gum stuck to the wall next to the bed. We were on the ground floor and the windows didn’t lock. These issues were all brought to the attention of the lady on reception. The staff here were all very friendly and attentive.
Great location and very short walk to USS Lexington and Aquarium. The breakfast was good. Good food choice.

No hot water for a couple days, pool wasn’t heated and the hot tub was cold and dirty.
Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast wiener was phenomenal!

toilet and faucet had a slow leak and the pool had sand on the bottom which means it was not cleaned regularly. the rooms (outside) were run down but inside was in good condition.
the location was great (beachfront) and the staff very friendly and professional.

ROOM WAS OLD AND A BIT RUNDOWN. THE BATHROOM WAS REMODELED, BUT THE FLOORS APPEARED DIRTY AND THERE WASN'T ANY EXTRA SUPPLIES (TOILET PAPER).

Hotel was in disrepair and needs serious renovation. Atleast repaint all the spackled spots up and down halls ! And I had to have my room key, re programmed 5 times. It never would work. And no hot water any of the 3 days

Had 2 eat breakfast in this small room COULDN'T TAKE 2 OUR ROOM. THEY WATCHED US... THE PARKING WAS HORRIBLE WE HAD TO TAKE STAIRS NOT HANDY CAPP ACCESSIBLE

No clean wash clothes available on 2nd night. Pool was green. Broken lounge chairs laying all around pool area. TV/internet went out on 3rd day and was still not back on by time we checked out.
Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel was clean. Pretty good variety for breakfast. Wear and tear was visible around hotel grounds, but nothing that wouldn't be expect from an older and directly on the beach.

Obvious cheap weekend party spot, checked in on Monday and there was trash all about, beer cans and pool toys. Bathrooms need an update, no information in the rooms, I.e. tv listings, local restaurants. We didn’t use the Wi-Fi.
The pool was decent, right on the beach, fairly quiet at night.

grab bar in bath was loose. I am 82 years' old, and could have slipped and fallen in bathtub due to loose grab bar. Bath and floor were very slipperly. Bath should have an anti-slip floor mat to ensure balance. Also, the pillows on the beds looked like basketballs with a pillow case over them. Extremely uncomfortable. There is an inherent 'problem' with people from India managing hotels. They are mainly concerned with selling the room, not at all concerned with customer service. They should not be in the hospitality business.

The facilities overall were very dated and it is obviously an older hotel that needs some upgrading. The carpet was wet in front of our room and smelled like dirty feet, not sure what happened, but inside the room was ok. The toilet felt like it was going to break every time I sat down as it was loose from wall and the seat kept sliding back and forth. There is no elevator and the stair well was very busy with people lugging their luggage up and down. We most likely will not stay here again.
We liked the location, the pool, breakfast, comfort of bed and water pressure in the shower was excellent.

Our room needed lots of repairs… refrigerator was not balanced, sink had cracks, the restroom vent was missing the cover so there was a huge hole where the cover went. Curtain to balcony was not connected properly. Bathroom door doesn’t close correctly and bathroom floors were stained. Very difficult to open balcony door. No one monitors the pool to let guest know to keep music down since not everyone enjoys same music. Picnic tables are rotted and not safe to sit on. Landscape has been neglected. No phone in rooms to call front desk for help or concerns. The family below us were loud and playing music so loud all night. Stairs need repairs.
Access to the beach was great. Pool was very big compared to other locations that have pools. Our view from the balcony was great.

The pictures looked way better then what we came across. The rooms had rug, Patio door needed to be replaced( you could see light along the opening ,top door hinge broken and hanging). We were there on a weekend and there were several families there.Didn’t use the pool as it was crowded and weather wasn’t greatest. Rug down the stairs was dirty. Breakfast was okay not enough food.
