It is under remodeling and on Friday morning there were people working on the outside of the bedroom window. The elevator in lobby had only 1 working on several occasions. Bathtub needs replacement

Beautiful Historic Hotel in the heart of the city. Quick walk to many cafes and places nearby. Large bedroom. Being renovated. Lobby details with the high ceilings and all the carpentry work. Elegant ambiance, courteous staff.

The scaffolding around the building, the newer staff couldn't give us information about local shops, and the elevators were small and only 2 were working. we did not realize construction was going on in the Hotel. The rooms had a mini split with no instructions on how to use it.

Breakfast at the coffee shop - My toast was burnt with an outrageous amount of mayo. Room was great! We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go. Valet service was perfection, as was housekeeping.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious.

The scaffolding over the windows and the window glass completely covered in splatters of cement meant we couldn’t even have our curtains open.

We had cold water the whole day in the room. Couldn't shower in our room because it was so cold.

I like that the location was perfect in the city, the inside is exactly a rebuild from the 1910s are whenever it was built.

I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking. That should’ve been free. I also didn’t like that the TV didn’t have internet capabilities, I wasn’t able to use Netflix or cast Netflix from my phone. But most importantly, I specifically requested that towels be left on the bed in the shape of a heart along with a bouquet of roses when I made the reservation and it wasn’t there.

I like the comfort of the bed and couch and how the lobby looked.

Didn't appreciate the extra $30/day resort fee, would have like to now that at the time of booking. Water pressure was poor and that made for unsatisfied showering

My air conditioner wasn’t working in the unit I was in and I got moved to another unit which looked nothing like the one I paid for but the air conditioner was working so I didn’t complain anymore !

Only negative I had was upon arrival we realized the hotel was undergoing construction which had not been mentioned. Wanted to sleep in but at 8 am the workers were right outside our window. There was earplugs but only one pair, and I don’t think they would’ve helped

Major construction making stay uncomfortable. Lifts boarded up. Workers in upper floors till late. False fire alarm just on our floor. No one seemed to care.

The property was under construction and the parking was too far away. Not that great when you have a family of 4 with small kids. Also, the mattresses seemed older and were not the most comfortable.

The value for the price paid for the room, and the location of the hotel. Proximity to the Amalie Arena was key. We would stay here again based on convenience.

Lots of construction. The parking situation was less than desirable. Their parking lot was being used for construction purposes so we had to pay $30 a day to park the next block over. The bus station was full of homeless people and they would ask for money anytime you were out there walking too and from your vehicle. Also the tv channel choices were odd. Mostly old tv shows and channels selling things.

Very unique. Rooms were comfortable. Lactation was good.

Due to construction being done, early in the morning we would hear drilling etc. but the low price evens that issue out. There was a blood stain on our bed sheets and there was a strange announcement over the intercom in our room that sounded a little spooky, I couldn’t make out what it was saying but it was really weird.

The location of the hotel was excellent and in walking distance for several things. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal and the staff were kind. Check in and check out was an easy process.
