Three worst check-in experience ever. Took about an hour because there was only one employee working. Plus, she chose to take phone calls from Expedia representatives while guests in front of her waited for help. Not her fault as she was alone. Was then given a room key for a room already occupied. Getting that fixed, another half hour. And the room was outdated with what looked like attempts at repair, but still looked worn. If you stay here, do not look to closely at anything. You might not see things you like. I know the room was cheap, but there has to be some basic hotel standards that must be adhered to. The room served its purpose but far from satisfactory.

Guest smoking weed at all hours of the day and the scent coming from the adjoining room door. No complimentary breakfast. No one wants to pay additional fees for the Mexican restaurant located in your facilities.

No extra towels were left for us and didn't have any when we ask for some. We also had several rips in the blanket they covered with a sheet over the comforter. It was weird but fine we had a good laugh about it

I did like the staff except the last night we were there we forgot to ask for extra towels before we left for the amusement park and we had 4 people in the room came back and had 1 towel we went to ask for some and we told they didn't have any so after being out in 90 + heat all day we had to use hand towels for 2 people and lusky 1 had hung up a towel from the day before and one had to use a wet towel from someone else not a good ending to a great weekend

The pictures posted on the site were very outdated, the building on the outside almost looks deserted, the entrance was not welcoming at all, needs a lot of work, the inside was clean, but again outdated.. the restroom had lots of rest stains in the toilet, on the walls and on the shower curtains,,

some of the furniture was dated bathroom, fixtures, and things of that nature curtains. I was told they are renovating. You can tell they should close some of the floors and renovate one floor at a time or close every other floor and renovate but the bed was really really comfortable, a lot of suspicious type characters hanging around the building really noisy because it sits next to the interstate so the sound of the interstate runs all night but again the bed was really comfortable

Staff was very indifferent. We found bugs in the morning coffee, which was fine, can't always control bugs. But when we told the lady so she could clean it out she just shrugged and didn't seem to care.

Bathroom door didn't close all the way. The room door seemed to be on the hinges wrong it was a gap from door frame and door. The hinge on the bathroom door was off and sharp screws were sticking out. I only saw 2 baby roaches in the bathroom.

Bed was comfortable and the staff was very polite and welcoming. Loved it was near Carowinds, made our trip very manageable.

Mold on ceiling of one room and very outdated. One room mattress was so old had a permanent fold in center.

The property need some maintenance and there’s a few touchups and things like that but it was very comfortable in a very good night sleep

The price and location was just key for me for that particular night and I would stay there again
