The staff lacked people skills and seemed more confused then comfortable handing details. The room was not cleaned, we left towels on the floor assuming house keeping would replace them. Had to go to the front desk and ask for new towels. Please let guests know if that service isn’t happening so we hang up towels.

The air conditioner worked rather strange. It would cycle between either blowing hot or then cold air. it was late both nights when we arrived back to room so we did not call desk. Our room was 317.

The bathroom was a bit small, specifically the placement of the toilet at 6'2", I could not sit on it normally. Also the shower stall was a bit small as well, but functional.

For our visit the location was perfect, we had places we needed to visit both north and south of your location so it was the perfect spot for us.

Common area and elevators floors were disgustingly dirty. Elevator walls and buttons were dirty - not sure how they are cleaning for COVID. We were really disappointed in the overall cleanliness. The bathroom was ridiculously small. Room rate increased due to IUP's starting weekend. Road construction right outside the hotel.

The staff working the desk was nice but only one person to answer the phone and check guests in AND sell any usual vending type items including water bottles which they ran out of and we had to leave and buy at Sheetz was not sufficient and waited in line a lot. It was the check-in weekend at the University so obviously it was going to be busy. I know staff is hard to get right now but they needed more. And when they ran out of water they said they had sold 2 cases…. Again, busy University weekend. You needed to have more on hand or start putting self-serve vending machines on each floor. There was an odor that really seemed like old cigarette smoke. Like maybe coming through the ventilation because we smelled it in the hallway and in our non-smoking room. The main door to our room couldn’t be closed easily as it was on a pressurized mounting system. I supposed so it wouldn’t slam shut but it was hard to close without standing there watching it slowly close. Our bathroom door wouldn’t latch or lock which was awkward for me with my 16 year old son traveling with us. Oh! And online it didn’t mention that the pool was also out of commission. It’s not that I’d never stay here again but I will try someplace else first. It looks renovated but it’s been redecorated. The space still feels old.

I booked this room for one night so my daughter could go swimming for her birthday. Checked the hotels website and lists the pool as open. I get there and there isn't even water in the pool. I told the front desk I wanted to leave and wanted a refund and he said he would go check the pool. I asked why? There was nothing to check. There was literally no water. He said I just thought maybe the water was cold. So the employees had no idea the pool was not accessible. We left 30 minutes after arriving and went to a different hotel.

The rooms were nice. Only thing I liked.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The amenities and pool access made the stay more welcoming and enjoyable. There were plenty breakfast options and table seating in different areas that allowed for a family oriented setting for my kids and I.

There was no food at breakfast. We got to breakfast at about 8:45 and when we got there it was only pancakes and cereals. And it took them till almost 10 to bring anything else out.

Booker BEWARE! If you book this hotel on Booking.com, the hotel will not do anything for you. When I got there, the hotel charged me the wrong amount. When I questioned it, I was told I booked through third party and that I needed to take it up with them. When I checked out, I asked for a receipt so Booking.com could rectify the price discrepancy and again I was told that because I booked with a third party, they would have to provide me a receipt. So I now have no receipt to give to Booking.com to refund me the difference in what I was charged. The front desk person was rude and unhelpful. I believe that they hide behind the whole "third party" excuse because they didn't want to fix the issue. I even offered to show the man the conformation sheet with the correct price and he told me no I needed to go through booking.com to fix the issue.

If I liked anything, it was overshadowed by the poor experience I had with the front desk.
