The building is showing wear and tear like mismatched spot repairs and torn screens. I hope the owners step up to take care of the little things now and keep it looking clean and cohesive. Otherwise, it's going in the same direction as some of the rundown competitors. Also, the pillows are not comfortable. They were toooooooo soft.

Amber and KatieLee(sp?) are awesome! Amber was welcoming and accommodating. She graciously answered any questions I had about the inn. The toilet in the room we were given had an issue, and the maintenance person wasn't available at that moment to repair it. So KatieLee changed our room. She was good at communicating updates about when the new room would be ready. Overall, the staff worked hard at helping the guests. And the hallways were clean too! There were no bad odors when you walked in, which is nice because I have a sensitive sense of smell.

I wish the place had a Generator. When I left, we had been without power for over 12 hours. This was due to the tornado, but you would think that a hotel size would’ve had a generator.

Paper thin walls meant that we heard all kinds of noise from our neighbors. One guy was swearing while he was watching a basketball game. Our room also was close to the entrance. There were two people talking outside incessantly well past midnight that made it very difficult to sleep.I would suggest you get a room far from the elevator and far from the front entrance.

Good location for the price. We were in Kalamazoo for our daughters graduation ceremony from Western Michigan University.

The breakfast was quite basic, but ok. However, it is a pity that people started cleaning up at 9:15, while breakfast was announced until 9:30. So no second serving.

We've stayed at a number of Sleep Inns, in particular the one in Allendale, Michigan next to GVSU. Whereas you aren't getting the same kind of room that you would at, say, a Marriott, you do get a comfortable room at half the price. Our king bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well and were rested the next morning, which is all you can ask. The morning continental breakfast was fine, not great, but what you would expect from a meal that comes with the room. All in all, what we expect from a Sleep Inn, no matter where we stay, which is comforting on the road.

We were on the second floor and a family with younger kids were on the third floor. We were awakened at 8:00am by the kids running, jumping, and making lots of noise.

It smelled so fresh as soon as you entered the room. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable as well. Most of all the attendant who took care of us was extremely pleasurable.

the beds and pillows weren’t comfortable it was hard and it was hard to sleep. i also didn’t like how thin the ways were and that housekeeping walked in my room while i was still in there & turned the light on and walked out with the door still being cracked. i always seen a girl on my floor who looked like she was on drugs doing her make up in the hallway during the night very concerning but other than that it was straight

The hotel is under renovations. The accessible room I booked was not available when I checked in and was told it would be another hour or more until it was cleaned and ready. I took another room instead. I do not know what that is on the ceiling but 🤮

The hotel was okay but not exceptional. It does appear to be an older building and they are doing some upgrades (signs were posted on entering). When I checked in the clerk was pleasant but not overly welcoming. She rushed through the process and instead of telling me about the facility (breakfast, WiFi password, etc), she asked if I had any questions for her. The only thing I could think to ask about was the breakfast times. The WiFi password was on the key envelope but you had to sign in to the WiFi every day which was aggravating if you stayed for multiple days. There was no paper information in the room referencing the TV channels but were papers telling you to scan the QR codes for information. I didn't see that until we were getting ready to check out. They did have Netflix but since we didn't know about the QR code used our own passwords to access it. There was not bathtub plug if you wanted to take a relaxing bath and the bathroom sink counter was rather small. The breakfast was HORRIBLE. Such a let down as we had just spent the night in another Stay Inn who had an excellent breakfast. The food was warm at best if not cold. There was no bread the first day. On Sunday they did have a crockpot of gravy for biscuits and gravy but the biscuits were cold - as if they had just taken them out of the refrigerator and put them out. Overall the room was okay, housekeeping checked in with us on Sunday and emptied our trash and provided clean towels. There was a window seat which was nice. There room seemed smaller than usual but was okay for our stay.
