The fact that the establishment failed to fill our request to have the plates and silverware in the room prior to our arrival. We also noticed that the hallway to our room on the 3rd floor was smelling something like weed or something along those lines. It was not a normal smell deodorizer that housekeeping might use when vacuuming. When we entered the room after checking in, it was super warm, which is not good in the late spring/early summer. We also took notice of the height of the toilet was very low to the floor, and having to hang on the sink and lower yourself down every time is not something your think to do each time you go to the toilet in the middle of the night.(Getting a right height toilet would remedy this problem). During our stay, we also noticed that the room AC had a major issue of sounding like the fan blade assembly was fixing to kick the bucket. Another issue we felt while walking around the room was the dips in the floor in front of the bed(if that doesn't get fixed, someone can break an ankle or punch through the floor). When it came to the kitchen area, the countertop that made the bar area was wobbly, and that it looked like someone tried to do damage to the refrigerator/freezer(it had visible pit marks) . Normally, when we have stayed in other establishments, we have had a nightside stand on both sides of bed. Since there was only one, my husband had to use a bar chair for a nightside stand.

The proximity to where we wanted to shop was a major plus. It was central to most everywhere we went. It gave us an anchor point to come "home" to. Also, being able to update our arrival time while in transit was a big plus for us since we got a later start than anticipated. We appreciate the staff for honoring that request. It helped us greatly.

Breakfast consisted of gas station granola bars, muffins and oatmeal packets. VERY cheap. Vent above cooktop in room didn’t work, which helped explain why the floor was greasy and a little slippery, and why the room smelled heavily of fried food. Finally the vent in the bathroom did not work so the bathroom was always steamed up after showers.

Breakfast was just individually wrapped muffins, granola bars, and instant oatmeal and the coffee machine was broken. The beds just had two cheap pillows and a very thin blanket. One of the worst nights sleep I've had at a hotel.

The fire alarm that went off for over an hour causing the elevators not to work, causing me to have to carry all our luggage down the stairs (5-6 trips) to check out.

Hated the Bathroom, especially the bath, yukey and out dated. Toilet very loud flush, it scared me the first time I heard it.

The floor was VERY sticky in my room and it didn’t seem like the best of neighborhood to no have a gated parking area. Saw a couple cars with windows busted out down the block and the view from our room was a trashed little area with graffiti all over. I payed over $200 for this room that felt like a $20 room.
