Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It had a smell as soon as you walked in. The rooms smelled of smoke and other oders and I'm a smoker but not inside. The sheets had stains on them.

our room was clean, shower was a lil questionable. i was also attempted to be charged more than once. when checking in we paid our total cost, also while checking out they tried to charge us again but i reassured them that we had already paid and showed it had been taken out of my bank account. about an hour after i left my card was attempted to be charged well over 3 times. it took two phone calls and a long talk with the staff to get this figured out.

According to the lady at the front desk, today, 05/10/2024 when I checked out, who was very nice, and polite told me that because I booked my room online and not with them directly, they were not able to honor my AARP Discount, therefore the cost that I paid was the full price of $162.98, when I checked in yesterday and I told Ana, the lady at the front desk about this, she told me that the cost would be adjusted to honor the AARP Discount when I checked out, but it wasn't and therefore I had to pay the full price of $162.98.
Ana the lady that was working the front desk yesterday 05/09/2024 was very friendly and helpful. she gave me my room door card, and when I went to our room and opened the door, we found that someone else had our room, Ana went to check on our room, and returned with the problem solved, and then later called our room to see if we were satisfied, which we were.

The hotel and room smelled very strongly of smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room.
The location was good and close to the city. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. The price was decent compared to other hotels in the area.

We had to stay for a week while our house was being remodeled and the room was so stuffy and the air did not work at all.
The place was nice and great location.

There were no refill stations for water bottles. No ice bucket for my room staff could not locate one The hot water did not seem to work correctly not a very warm shower The safety of the area was a bit questionable but the parking lot was very well lit
Very close to the area that I need to be in for work restaurant availability shopping area for groceries.. Staff was helpful and very approachable The lighting around the hotel was very helpful. The price was affordable

Great location! Only 5 to 10 minutes drive to Neyland Stadium. Plenty of dinning, shopping, gas, etc some even within walking distance. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at MainStay in North Knoxville. We will definitely be back to visit

The lighting in the bathroom wasn't great, and way too dim. We also saw a huge bug, hope it was a palmetto bug,but it looked a lot like a big roach.

The air conditioning worked but blew directly into the curtains the whole night and didn't really cool the room. Partly our fault because we came in late and basically went straight to bed, but This probably shouldn't be that way.
Quick easy in and easy out location. It suited our needs for a quick stay. The check-in process was fast. Not much left to say about this property.

The rooms could have been cleaner. Floors seemed dirty. Breakfast wasn’t that great. Minimal selection and coffee was bitter.
The staff was very good and location was great. I liked having a kitchenette.

We had a confirmed reservation for our room. However, due to our later arrival on check in, they switched our room with a nice view from the balcony to one overlooking the dumpsters. Informed people who check in later get leftover rooms. Informed her we had confirmed reservation- stated that's why you still have a room 😖 Room & bathroom wall fans didn't work, had to get box fan from front desk to circulate air and increase ventilation.
