Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

They offer lots of things for the room (like kitchen kit) but nothing is available

Says no smoking but had employees walking around the rooms smoking cigarettes. Bed was extremely uncomfortable/ hard. Only Had one thin blanket, and 2 pillows. We asked for more but they were out of pillows.
Nothing fancy, but had what we needed.

They wanted to nickel and dime you to death. You had to pay for things that are normally part of your room price.
The room price was not bad and it was a place to lay your head.

Had a hard time finding our room. No map was given and only general directions expressed. Room numbers on outside of doors are EXTREMELY small (it was very dark) forcing us to actually exit vehicle to see the numbers. Bedside lamp did not work as there was no light bulb. We tried to move bulb from the dresser lamp to the nightstand lamp but the lamp on the nightstand didn't work anyway, maybe has a short in it? One of the mattresses was very good, the other had a bad 'sag'' in the middle.
Very close to medical center. Water was hot and linens were clean. Room was in a quiet location, away from street noise. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Everywhere you walk reeks of someone smoking weed. It's terrible. The beds need to be updated, they are terribly hard.
The location is awesome for the stock show.

There were no utensils and the plates were plastic, no pots and pans and instead of a microwave plate, there was just a piece of cardboard in the microwave. If I’m paying over $100 I expect a better product

no breakfast as it was posted "grab and go breakfast". Also, in our room, the TV didn't work, but we didn't bother to ask them to fix it as we didn't need it .
The location was really good, on the university drive, close to many shops and restaurants, and it was close to TCU and Fort Worth Zoo too. The room and the bed was comfortable,

I don’t like that they advertise that the rooms have kitchen supplies but there are none in the rooms and they do not have them at the office as it recommends you to ask if you need anything. They also didn’t have towels in my room when I checked in and didn’t have any available until after three nights and my third request.

There were no kitchen amenities such as a coffee maker, plates, cups, pans etc available. When I requested them I was asked exactly what I needed and I said just the normal kitchen amenities. I was told they didn’t have any available. The room did not have a chair to sit in. I had to sit on the bed to watch TV or anything else in the room. They said there should be a chair in the room but didn’t know why there wasn’t one.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

The room is very small but decent. No ice machines. No room service/ fresh towels. Different element of guests but no issues.
Great location! I loved the close proximity to the bars and restaurants. The canal is literally in your backyard while staying there. Very close to the Stockyards and Dickies arena. If you're just looking for a place to store your things and sleep It's a good bang for your buck!

No TV remote, only one light bulb for 2 lamps, phone was not plugged in and I was not looking for the cord behind the bed on the dirty floor. Room and area smelled of Marijuana even though it was a non smoking room.
Close to TCU. Shopping across the street and close restaurants.

Maybe offering coffee in room would be good if not going to keep in lobby. Location was really good for our reason for stay.
The first morning went to grab the grab and go breakfast and some coffee and there wasn't any coffee and only couple granola bars. This was about 8:30. That was the only day we tried.
