Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaProperty wasn’t in the nicest of areas but at least you could walk downtown in about 15 minutes. Elevator shuts down at 8pm so you need to take stairs which could be a problem for some people. Would have been nice if they had a pool. Also, there were a number of questionable people that were hanging around the hotel all weekend especially at night.
The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were good.

ItalyI think it would make more sense to not mention that breakfast is included since all you get is a paper bag with a granola bar and a terrible orange juice.
We had a nice stay. The room was cozy, the beds comfortable, and the place was in a convenient location.

United States of AmericaPoor communication skills from counter check in. He doesn't listen very well, and he was insensitive to my needs. I was also there when they were doing road construction out front. He told me I couldn't check in yet because their system was down. He said I could wait there in the lobby if I wanted. The wooden hairs were very uncomfortable. I thought maybe he would offer me a more comfortable chair. He ignored me like I was bothering him. I finally asked him for a refund and he said, "I can't refund you because the system is down." No apologies or anything. He told me that I would have to get my refund from priceline anyway because that's who I booked it from. So, I found a room somewhere else. The next morning, I called Priceline and Priceline told me that they would have to get verification from your hotel in Salinas where I stayed. They said that nobody is answering the phone there. So, everyday since then ( perhaps that was on May 29th when the incident occurred) I've been calling Priceline almost every day, and it always the same answer, "nobody is answering the phone. Well, that doesn't surprise me because every time I have called there in the past I always had the same problem. I own my own small business, and I can tell you: If he were my employee, he would immediately be fired. He's not helping you with business. I can also say that I Will never use your hotel again, and, I will never use Priceline again. I still never got a refund for the 107 dollars that is still owed to me. I'm mostly likely going to take you to small claims court.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was well below expectations. It was a paper bag with an orange drink, two mini muffins and a small unnutritious candy "energy" bar. It was hard to get the guy behind the counter. The second morning, I dinged the bell and he never showed up, so no breakfast at all.
The room was clean, there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker (I drink tea, but it was adaptable), the bathroom was good, w/ hot water. Within walking distance of downtown, but still quiet.

United States of AmericaVanity sink clogged with a massive disgusting clog that had obviously gone unaddressed for a very long time. We started to try to remove the clog with our fingers, but it was just too disgusting. Elevator shuts down at 10:30 pm, which was even earlier than advertised. No vending machines.

United States of AmericaStaff was like talking to Eeyore. Very dry. Non-personable. Location was in the upper-class ghetto and misrepresented entirely. Jet tub jets didn't operate. Had to request a coffee maker. People left things under the bed that housekeeping did not clean. Patrons fighting and smoking weed despite postings not to do so. It just wasn't pleasant.
