Paid for spa bathroom and the jacuzzi tube didn’t work inform the front desk and the clerk replied he didn’t know anything about the situation ☹️

Staff particularly front desk could definitely benefit from customer service training. Not welcoming at all. Approached the desk to check in. No greeting no nothing. Said we’re here to check in. Response was a curt, surly “i.d”. Asked for a receipt upon checking out. Was met with a long sigh and “well you’ll have to wait for my printer to warm up “ no how was your stay or anything. Just not a good first or last impression.

The staff was horrible they were the most ignorant people that I have came in contact with in a long time. Never said hello, good morning, good afternoon they were too busy on their damn phones.

The location was perfect I was where I needed to be.

I was very upset to find out from the receptionist that, per policy, the housekeeping staff will only clean the rooms every 3 days (along with check-in and check-out, of course). The trash cans in the room were filled up, the bathroom needed cleaning, and the bedding needed to be changed. This is not acceptable. I'm not sure if the pandemic was the reason for the policy change, but it was never like that other times I stayed there in the past. Most of the breakfast was disgusting! The eggs and the sausage patties were bland. There was water (maybe from condensation) at the bottom of the egg tray to where I had to drain the eggs. The waffles, biscuits, and yogurt were really good. Basically, anything that doesn't require much cooking, if any at all, was good. Lastly, there were cigarette buds everywhere. Guests are allowed to smoke outside near the front entrance, but I kept stepping on buds by my car when I left the hotel. In my opinion, the piles of ashes and buds on top of the trash cans made the hotel look bad.

Last week was my third time staying at Comfort Suites Research Park - University. The location is great because it is conveniently near Wal-Mart, Target, grocery stores, shopping centers, restaurants, etc. From my experience, the staff is always friendly and professional. The beds are very comfortable.

I saw baby roaches crawling in the bathroom and the couch had blood stains or something on it. The bed covering under the sheets had blood on it 😷😔

The ice machine didn't work on the floor I stayed on. Only one elevator was working most of the time. Couldn't sleep because the smoke detector battery on the floor needed to be changed.

It was close to the PNC Pavilion, where we were going to a concert. The beds were comfy.

When asking for clean towels the maid replied I could not have clean towels until the following day which was my check out day☹️

The WiFi was abysmal. Seriously, unless you upgrade it, do NOT even list it as an amenity. I couldn’t do any work while I was there because the connection would time out. I couldn’t even download a PDF to review my schedule for the next day.

We had lots of ANTS IN OUR ROOM...The food and drinks we had had ANTS all in it and everything...my fiance took a cup just show the front desk people...TOOK THE ENTIRE MORNING AND HALF OF OUR AFTERNOON WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GET THE ANTS...WE DIDN'T EVEN GET OFFER A DISCOUNT OR ANYTHING...THE LARGER BROWN SMIN GIRL HAD SUCH AN ATTITUDE...
