The room wasn't carpeted. The floor felt "sticky" at times under my feet. I was there for a week and the staff apparently never entered the room while I was there (which was good and bad), but as a result the towels were never changed, the bed was never made, and the trash was never emptied. There were plastic dumpsters outside where I could dump my own trash. It was a "no-frills" room: no alarm clock, no box of tissues, no little coffee maker (which I probably wouldn't have used anyway) - so a lot of the amenities that one would expect in a higher priced facility were missing (which was fine, as I was staying there for the "price"). I only mention that so others may know to come prepared. I thought the TV channel selection was horrendous. Had I wanted to watch a sporting event, the only thing televised was a PAC-12 college sports channel. Curiously they had NewsMAX and a BBC channel, but most of the other stations seemed to be old sitcoms and movie reruns. Again... I wasn't there on vacation or to watch TV, but at least a local sports or news (and weather) channel would have been nice.

I wasn't there on a "vacation," so the location (on US-19) served my purpose well. There was a decent sized table that I was able to set my laptop computer on and the Wi-Fi worked well. The pool looked inviting, as did the covered sitting area, and I probably would have taken advantage of both had I had more time. I stayed at the Roadhouse for the low rate offered (which was about half of what I would have paid to stay at other motels in the area) and so in that regard, I have no complaints - you get what you pay for. The facility had two washing machines and dryers, which came in handy. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, which I appreciated.

The toilet keep backing up and wouldn't flush, told hotel staff and they gave me a plunger instead of coming to see or sending a plumber and the towels where dirty so I went out and bought my own, will not be staying there anymore the chair was torn and needed to be thrown away and the refrigerator didn't work

The rooms could be cleaner, furniture replaced or stains cleaned. Hair dryer looked as if it was from 1980 and has caught fire before? Didn't chance it. Better WiFi that doesn't keep going out! Cable needs an up grade as well. The costumer service is the main issue or lack there of! The price was exceptionally high for the quality.

I didn't see any bugs. I had hot water for about 3 mins.

The non smoking room wreaked of smoke. The lighting was only bright by the bed. The curtain did not cover by the door so when in the bathroom or walking around the room you had to be fully clothed because i tried to tuck the curtain into door handle to cover, but that rose the bottom of curtain up so that ppl could see into room still. Just infuriating. Bathroom/tub was not very clean. Kids were loud Fri night but quieter Sat night.

We were there for a 2 nt stay as we were exhibiting/selling our artwork in a local outdoor art show. Up before dawn and back after dark both days. On the 2nd nt. when we came back to our room we discovered we had had no maid service. I went to the front desk and told the agent on duty and he gave us fresh towels and mumbled that shouldn't have happened. Upon checkout the following morning I advised the agent and asked for a rate reduction, he advised me that if you're not in your room hskpg won't enter. Well, I worked in the hotel industry for 25 years rising to be a general manager of Econo Lodges and Super 8's and that's not the policy of Choice or Hilton hotels I can assure you. I was always taught to ask the guest "how can I make this better for you" find out what they want, sometimes just someone to acknowledge the problem and promise to address it with the manager or offer a discount, whatever they insisted upon was what it would be even if it was to comp the room for the night. This staff needs serious training in customer service and I will write a letter to Choice Hotels, nothing I hated worse that to read a bad review from a customer.

The room was not what I expected as far as cleanliness! The door didn't have all the hardware it was supposed to!! The lamps didn't work & the floor was dusty and dirty! I found trash under the bed and there was cockroaches! 😵‍💫Ewww gross!

I didn't like that the room has two lamps instead of a ceiling light. I didn't like seeing a lot of the guest hanging outside of their rooms. The location seems to rent rooms to long-term guest.

A lot of locals living there, a couple came and asked for rides and donation of any spare change. Tha bed would not stop moving away from the wall while sleeping and beds were extremely hard.
