We were in the far end downstairs, the sink was a bit smelly and the hallway also smelt funny, like drains. I did wonder if that was because our room was near the laundry room. No facilities to have hot water in the room. Had to get dressed and walk out onto the street, then into the lobby to get hot water for a cup of tea (being British - tea is very important!!)

Perfect location, so close to the bars and restaurants. Beautiful design, the hotel was really pretty. Staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly. We wish we had stayed another night!

Dissapointed that the hotel did not provide self parking even though they had parking on site. $30/night for valet parking. Feel that a property of that caliber (and price point), part of a chain like Hilton should include parking for guests.

The property was very nice and in a great location. A block away from State Street so walking distance from everything. The staff was very attentive and professional.

The air conditioner was broken in the room that I requested so we moved to another room. No extra amenities in this place and twice the price of what the hotel used to be. They used to have free breakfast and coffee in the lobby all day but no longer. Also charging $30 for parking.

We were given a handicap room close to the entrance. We should have asked for a new room right away. We traveled with 2 teen daughters. A bathroom is difficult to share at that age and the bathroom was a bit difficult to use because it was a handicap room. For the cost, there isn’t much included but we were very happy with the location. The “extras” were very basic. For example, the toiletries were generic and you could buy snacks like sodas, cookies or chips at the desk. We asked for advise on some excursions we wanted to take. I wasn’t expecting a concierge but the staff at the desk wasn’t very knowledgeable about the area.

Booking.com didn't send the hotel my reservation. We had to call Booking.com to fix this problem taking over an hour.

I didn't like the particular room that I was in--small and at the far end of the hotel near an exit. The entry was always over-lit and smelled of an old-school perfume counter in a mall.

my credit card was wrongly charged at night by the hotel due to an error or hack. i was able to resolve the matter with some interactions with the credit card company. however, the hotel staff didn't seem to care about the matter at all. this was irritating because everything else was perfect and they were friendly.
