Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room 120: Had no wardrobe, closet or hangers No suitcase rack Toilet was too low for handicap accessibility. Door too hard to pull for handicap person. There was only one bath towel nor a place to hang it. Bed was too low and lumpy Coffee machine and drink/juice machine and eggs/sausage warmer were crammed in one corner causing people to bump into each other Bagels were tiny There were no muffins or bananas

We didn't require it, but we got an ADA room, and the shower head was a little clunky and loose.
Clean, spacious room. Had a good Italian restaurant on property. Lots of parking conveniently close to our room. Checking in the young lady was very friendly. Checking out the lady was less "friendly" but professional and courteous.

There was no elevator to the second floor. I am a handicapped person and it was extremely difficult to climb the stairs to get to my room. I was told there were no first floor rooms available.
The quiet comfortable room and the on site restaurant.

The room could use some updates. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. It is old, smells and broken down. Carpet needs replacement or at least thorough cleaning. Housekeeping should probably turn the shower heads towards the bottom of the shower, turned ours on, unaware it was pointed at the back wall and flooded the bathroom before I could get it moved downward.
The room was clean and neat. Standard king room with fridge, microwave , hair dryer and essentials.

Hot tub not warm and found out it was broken. Pool not clean. Leaves n stuff everywhere but I wanted a refreshing time so jumped in. One of the main reasons we didn't mind paying the price, both were down moments. Couch was not comfortable. Coffee in room bad compared to breakfast coffee?
Bed was comfortable. Front Desk Tiffany was the best , kindest clerk we ever met. Betty or Beth is the 2nd best. Becky in kitchen help was incredible helping elderly breakfast happenings. Your staff was incredible!

The falling apart couch that you sunk into if you sat on it was a disappointment and a waste of space(unless you like sitting in a hole). The unpatched spot where a towel hook was pulled off the wall(tiny hole) made the bathroom look rundown. The really old looking adjoining room door that had a bathroom doorknob style lock, a chain, and a modern hoop security latch on it was creepy and not a real confidence booster, it felt like it belong in the 70's to me and a ninja or spy was going fly through it at any second. The bed was too hard for me, but that's a personal issue.
The breakfast was tasty. Eggs, sausage patties, waffles, all good. Staff was friendly enough to not be considered unfriendly.

Shower had very little pressure and lighting in the room was too bright could use some softer lighting near bed and in the bathroom

Sleeper couch was uncomfortable to sit on, but as I was just there to shower and sleep, not a big deal.
The hotel is old, but it’s clean and the room was good sized. The King disability was only option available, so I missed a bathtub, but understandable.
