United States of AmericaThe room we were assigned couldn’t be opened with our key. We had to wait 30 minutes for a staff member to open the door manually. Staff allowed my husband and I to get dressed in a room, but then assigned us another room with a proper functioning door. But throughout the entire process, the staff was very polite and professional.
The staff were very professional and friendly. They tried to be as accommodating as possible.

United States of AmericaWhen we first arrived our bed had dead & alive ants in it, luckily we did a bed inspection if not we could've ran the risk of being bitten in our sleep! Also the maintenance inside the building is not up kept. The carpeting is stained throughout, paint damage, & other cosmetic damage do not give a comfortable or inviting experience . We paid for a room upgrade to a king bed because the queen bed we had was not comfortable, the AC unit in the 2nd room would not stay on & the room did not get to temperature that was set so the room was too warm & the outlet in the bathroom would not work even though we tried to reset with breaker/ reset buttons.
Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was fine. Nothing spectacular but still appreciated for a quick bite on your way out the door. Our king bed was more comfortable than the queen beds from the first 2 room we were placed in.

United States of AmericaThe light switch in room would not stay off. Had to put the room key on the side of switch to make it tight so the switch would stay down. they are short staffed on cleaning people I had to bring down towels and bedding to get a exchange. Inconvenienced.

United States of AmericaWhen you walk in it stunk of urine and cigarettes. Keep walking through the building and it didn’t get better. The hallways were hot and humid. They did not supply toilet paper. We had to run out and buy some. The floors were filthy. There were sticky pee drops on the floor in front of the toilet. So they didn’t mop after the last people. The beds were hard like plywood and the pillows were super flat. You don’t get a full set of towels. The water pressure was weak in the shower and flushing the toilet. Just after one pee and wipe, the toilet got clogged and I had to go downstairs and ask for a plunger. I stayed here 20 years ago and it was nice. Not no more.
The night staff were very nice.

We initially arrived earlier in the evening and the gentleman at the front, Caucasian male in his 20s, helped us and informed us that the reservation most likely had not been completely processed since I had just placed it a few minutes prior through booking.com. We informed him we planned on going across the street to the bar and asked if we could check in afterwards. He stated there would be no problem. We returned to check in around 0200 and attempted to check in with a different gentleman at the front, I don’t recall his name however he was an African American male in his 20s, he informed us that there was an issue with our check in because it was past midnight and he would no longer be able to honor our booking.com reservation. We found it odd considering when we had attempted to check in during the day, and we’re not told of any requirements to check in before midnight. Nonetheless we asked to book the same room. When we went to pay he informed us that there would be an early check in fee of $20/ hour we wanted to check in early, and since normal check in time was 1600, the fee would be another $200 in addition to the $208 for the room. Despite the math ($20/ hour x ~13 hours= $260) not adding up, we asked if there was any other way since we were informed earlier in the day there would be no issues if we checked in later. After some back and forth, we informed him we would be reaching out to management in the morning and would find a different place to stay. After this there some how was a room for the original price and configuration of what we booked initially through booking.com. We checked in for the original price of ~$208 and had no further issues. My group and I felt like we were being scammed and if we hadn’t put our foot down, we would have paid DOUBLE the price of the room in made up “fees” since we were told there was no other option.
The location was conveniently located for what we had traveled to enjoy and the room was comfortable and clean, as well as the bathroom. Overall the room was great, the check in experience was not satisfactory to say the least.

United States of AmericaThe “breakfast” was a pouch of instant oatmeal. That was the only choice. The glass front door had been broken and replaced with wood, but the staff claimed to have no idea how it happened. When we arrived, our bed was missing a flat sheet. We were told they were still doing laundry. Also, there was no curtain on the shower. When I reported this upon checkout, I was told they were low on inventory, but the staff person assured me I would not be charged for a missing shower curtain.
The location was good for our needs.

Its a very basic hotel -- zero frills. I was staying on the ground floor near the entrance --- there were no privacy curtains as it was so gloomy when I visited ,that meant I had to have the very dark curtains closed with lights on or the curtains wide open and be in the gloomy room. Really no cups or a kettle or a spoon to make a drink . I would not chose to stay again .it is what is considered cheap -- really, it cost $260 for two nights!

United States of AmericaDon't even advertise breakfast. I got up at 6:50am to get coffee and something to eat. There was one muffin. Really it wasn't even 7yet. Just read the reviews on yelp of this place. Not good. Which is sad because San dimas is such a nice cute area. You have to ask for anything you need in the kitchen. Nothing is there. Like maybe they don't trust the clientele you stay there. Even Motel 6 leaves a coffee maker in the room.
