Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The $100 deposit, which is not mentioned on booking.com. also the breakfast listed on booking.com says eggs and other items are offered but that is not the case. Please post the correct information

I arrived earlier, the woman at the reception told me to come back at 3pm and did not allow me to wait in the hotel lobby. I had to be outside, it was very cold. This made me uncomfortable. Is this really the hotel's policy? This is the first time I encountered this. They don't value their guests!!!

Nothing at breakfast was appealing but not a surprise. I had a tough time getting the curtains to cover the bright light in the parking lot, but I was able to make it work. I would stay again.
The room was clean and comfortable, and a good deal for the price. It was a little outdated, and some of the furniture a bit roughed up, but it was clean and comfortable.

Price was good. We appreciated the gentleman who checked us in & the woman who was helpful the first morning. Having stayed here before, we were not impressed with the woman on 4/19.

One of the staff members came off very rude and my husband didn't like that either. However I understand everyone has bad days and just hope that that's the reasoning.
It was peaceful and quiet. They had a few options for breakfast in the morning. Most of the staff were very kind.

Desk person could upgrade her customer service, skills, but evening person was very nice & helpful, Minimal breakfast fare—-chose to eat elsewhere NO wake up call service NO receipt because we booked online

Booking.com website did not state upfront that there would be a $100 DEPOSIT. The night desk clerk explained and insisted this was policy. He showed me "small print" on Booking.com website which I thought was not "up front"

Cable TV has alot of hacked in background chatter. People talking. Who what where why don't know. Am noticing this alot. One source is cable box. I do believe it was local where the hackers were located. When in Wisconsin the chatters have Wisconsin accents.

The front desk Clerk upon check out was cold. Didn’t ask about our stay. At breakfast, we came down a few minutes before 9 am. She cut the juice machine off after I said I needed a little juice to take my meds. it would not have hurt to accommodate us even if it was a minute after 9 at this point. we had already begun to toast our bagels and make coffee and she cut the machine off. She could have waited until we were done before shutting things down. There was also an odor to the carpet in the lobby and on the floor where our room was. Another thing that I failed to mention was that there was only one trashcan and one mirror in the room. Why?We had to go in the to throw away trash. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that did not have a mirror on the wall in the room where you can check your appearance upon leaving. I think that’s ridiculous.
what I liked about the property was that it was quiet and clean. The front clerk upon check in was nice and accommodating.

The breakfast was ridiculous. I went down 1 hour after they opened on a Saturday. There were 2 bagels and 1 piece of bread. A few other things but I had to take my family elsewhere for breakfast. The bathroom was large but had no counter space. A simple cart or end table would have been nice to have a spot for my things. There was plenty of room for one.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The area was fine.

Room was small as was the breakfast area. Breakfasts were minimal.
