Room has cockroaches .. bad. Poor maintenance of things inside the room.

No garbage can in room or bathroom. Garbage cans near stairs outside room. Vending machine near front desk did not work. Only one elevator on property did not work sometimes. Not enough stairs to 2cnd floor, too far apart. Dining room area locked after 9am, when complimentary breakfast was over. Complimentary breakfast too early from 6am-9am. Looked unsafe or sketchy upon night arrival. Men loitering outside rooms. Women loud, yelling during night. Looks like local and poor people stay there, maybe homeless people. Felt unsafe at times for woman by herself. Outside of property, walkways look old, rundown and dirty. Free Wi-Fi works only near front check-in desk but not in rooms. Room key card did not always work. Ice machine far away from room. Most accessible water was tap water.

The staff was helpful, nice, attentive and respectful and quick to assist. 3 great restaurants, gas station, convenience grocery store, with extended hours, right next door within walking distance. Good location. 10-15 minutes away by car from International airport. Has a pool with good hours, 10a-10p. Computer access near front desk. Building looks nice from far away. Floors in rooms instead of dirty carpet. Reasonably priced and good value. No deposit held. Interesting and fairly healthy complimentary daily breakfast with waffle iron. Mini-fridge, very cold and microwave in room. Iron and ironing board in room. Privacy. Nice large dining area downstairs near lobby, front desk where complimentary breakfast is offered. Good A/C in room. Loitering on stairs by guests discouraged, not allowed by staff. Plenty of parking. Decent amenities. Very close to freeway. Easy check-in and out. Clean sheets. Comfortable beds. Drinking fountain in lobby with tap water.

The water wouldn’t go down the drain in shower. There were bullet holes in the mirror and picture, ashes by the toilet and the floors were really dirty. The smoke detector was missing. They didn’t have the complimentary soap and the napkins box was empty. Seems like it’s housekeeping.

I liked how accommodating the staff were. They were polite and helped me with my luggage.

There were roaches, homeless walking the parking lot, no towels available, the bed sheets had stains on them. The walls were falling apart. It was not swept or vacuumed.

The website said online booking.com that there was a pool when I got there no pool was open it was closed. When I checked with staff they said booking.com should've posted it.

The elevators didn’t work. We were on the 2 floor which had two flights of stairs. My son has an injury, I asked to switch to a lower level and was told no because they were all booked but where empty our entire stay. The breakfast was until 11, we went down at 8 nothing left. We asked if they would be making more and staff said it’s first come first serve. I requested towels and toiletries because we didn’t have any upon arrival. They came the next morning after I had asked one of the maids. This was one of the most stressful hotel stays I have ever had.

The shower knob was really hard to get water turned on. My elderly aunts couldn’t turn water on to shower.

I didn’t like that I felt something rolling along my foot under the sheets. Room over all needed some cleaning, and fixing up. Shower had hair, shower curtain looked like it needed to be handed to the bum down the street, wall next to shower needs to get retextured. The place needs a maintenance person that will make sure the rooms get done correctly.

I liked that it was easy to get to.

Restroom in general was really dirty when arriving so i had to go buy everything to give it a good clean, roof on top of the shower was falling and there was roaches. No towels where provided and when asking for some they denied them until after like 10 minutes arguing that we are a family of 4. Breakfast is cereal, eggs, beagles, juice, however once everything is gone they wont fill up anymore.

The breakfast was unacceptable, so we went to a restaurant. There was a small fridge in room that my husband opened and stunk up the entire room with the stench of rot. The bathroom light flickered like a strobe light. The toilet barely flushed. The floors really needed not just a shampoo, but replacing. I will never stay in El Paso, Texas, ever again in my life!

The only thing that seemed acceptable was that the bed linens seemed clean and fresh. The staff also was nice and polite.
