It would've been nice if they had a hottub in the pool area. We booked a smoking room with a king bed and they didn't have a king bed available when we arrived.

Just one front desk night rep was a bit rude when my husband and I were sitting at the pool at night she came out of the office and said that we needed to move because the pool was closed in a rude way .

Chanel was a great person who made me laugh when I checked in . She was able to give me things that I needed for my room and a lady at breakfast she's was also super nice to me and my family. I will definitely return back to this place.

Towels were dirty and had stains, Couldn’t tell if they had even been washed. A/C had a strong odor likely from a smoker. Shower curtain was moldy and stained. Checked out a day early to stay somewhere else.

First room they gave us had blood stains on the sheets. Mold in shower and toilet paper holder broken. Then gave us 115 nice old room. W table and fridge looking over the pool. Towels are thin and rough bring your own. Tub didn't drain I showered in 6 inches of water

Overall we were disgusted by Howard Johnson. I would not recommend staying here. When we arrived our room had visible smudges on the front window, stains on the pillowcases and was just dingy and dirty. The room was much more run down than what the pictures online had shown. There was also a lot of road construction at the entrance so anyone swimming at the pool would have been right beside it (not he hotels fault, but still not enjoyable). We had stayed at previous Howard Johnson’s and hadn’t had an issue, but this one is privately owned. We ended up at a La Quinta not far away for the same price and the breakfast was great, room was clean and they also offered housekeeping daily- which Ho Jo did not. I feel as though a lot of the positive reviews I saw online when I had booked at Ho Jo were paid reviews

The tile floors in the room were not clean. My children's feet were black after walking around on it. Towels appears to have rust stains on them.

1. Light on dresser not working, Telephone not working had to walk to front desk to report problem. Was told no maintenance available. Curtain rod fell down could not take a proper shower. No point in walking back to front desk, Room was clean but smelled too strong of disinfectant could not breathe, had to leave door open to air out in very hot humid temps. No hair dryer, not even a box of tissues provided. Breakfast was a joke. Only thing available ,few slices of white bread, no creamer for coffee and I could go on and on. Very Poor.

Only issue I encountered was that some other hotel guests used to congregate somewhere nearby, outside my room entrance and converse for a while, at late hours, like between 11 PM to past midnight. Road construction is in progress, right at the highway exit that leads to the hotel parking lot entrance, as well as the entrance itself, making it easy to miss the turn into the hotel driveway from the busy frontage road exit from Hwy 19. Relatives I was visiting reside in the neighborhood behind the hotel, so I found that Republic drive conveniently approaches the hotel area from Belcher road.

Very good housekeeping staff. Desk staffed 24x7. Location of hotel was very good, but I wish there was more than only the main entrance into the parking lot. Single entrance though, can be good for security.
