Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was a little out of town centre and Aircon in room was noisy.
Large room with comfortable beds and good facilities (fridge, ironing board). Continental breakfast was good

Breakfast is an ecological disaster.everything is in plastic .plates ,spoons ,knifes,forks. U feel at a children’s party where afterwards you throw everything in a bin.unbelievable that in these times this still exists.score sustainability is a big zero.also eating from plastic plates with plastic forks .the overall feeling after a good night sleep went below zero ….

The shower handles to adjust water temperature was difficult to adjust. The wind at the end of our end of the hallway hitting the building sounded eerie. Disappointing breakfast.

I didn’t really care for not having a sink in the bathroom! It would very nice to have a bench or chairs out back or front to sit outside on nice days
The breakfast could have had fresh fruit! Cereal & milk for the kids !

We did like the breakfast with the waffle bar, but I wished there were eggs and protein options. The cleaning staff were very good, but the front desk staff were unattentive and absent most of the time. One of the Jacuzzis didn't work. The pillows were very hard. Everything else was great.
We liked the pool. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were very clean and updated. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was very affordable with a great location and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

Staff wouldn't let us go into the store to get a snack or just grab us something. If there is staff then the store items should be available for purchase.

Pool is disappointing. Over chlorinated and super hard on the eyes just watching the little ones swim. The bathroom needs a bit of an update. The air conditioning/heater system was super loud.
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast with the omelets were great. Rooms were clean.

The hallways could be a little brighter.
Excellent breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is handy for the downtown area. Easy access to the Event Center.

The interruption just before bed that had us worried half the night. The situation was handled very well by hotel staff.
The friendly service was great and when needed, our needs were met with awesome service,. The room was very comfortable and accommodating and it was nice and clean.

The breakfast never varied. They were out of butter, so how were you supposed to make toast without it. Could you not just go to Sam's club and get some. Also, why offer bagels when we are very familiar with using cream cheese with a bagel. Very disappointed that for our 3 day stay you couldn't figure out to just go to the store and get these items. You have a Sam's Club in your town, good grief use it.

I wish breakfast would go to at least 10 am give people a chance to sleep in and not feel rushed to get breakfast! I usually miss breakfast because it ends so early! Also the tv was very blurry!
I love the comfortable beds and this is one of my favorite place to stay!
