Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Overall, the property shows its age. It just feels like it’s been renovated on a tight budget several times.

Next to our room, someone couldn’t open the door, it was 12:30 am, he tried contactless access by the phone, on a speaker, it failed about 20 times, we didn’t understand what happened at the beginning, but because he was right next to our door, we didn’t feel comfortable.

Staff were not friendly at all…any questions we had to ask were met with a look like we were bothering them. Room was cold as they had disconnected the heat.

Front desk personnel were not friendly. Forced air didn't work, but there was no sign to not use it. It made the room hot. I know that this hotel has a contract with the train companies but the train workers were so loud in the hotel. They should be more respectful to people who have paid to stay there.
Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good size, and the tub was very comfortable with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, but I would have liked some bacon.

I was concerned that I could not open the windows in my room in the event of a fire - this did concern me as it appeared that the windows were deliberately screwed shut for security! The breakfast wasn't great with a lack of healthy options however at this level and price it seemed to be the standard in the USA for this type of accommodation but it was a disappointment for me.
excellent check in staff and the whole check in and check out service was fast and impressive. The room was large and clean however this hotel is ageing and some of the fit and finish for the doors had gaps. There was a smell of weed in the common areas/corridors during our stay however this may have been emanating from a large group of young people staying during one of the nights! This is not the fault of the hotel though, just an observation. The a/c and general temperature control in the room was very good (we stayed in early march 2024). All staff I had an interaction with were lovely and very polite with a cheery and welcoming disposition! One of the reasons I booked this hotel is because it had a GYM but unfortunately I didn't get to use it due to time constraints however it looked clean with fully functioning equipment and no queues.

They allow guests to have dogs. Someone dog was barking all morning had to call front desk. Not in DC more on Maryland side.
The breakfast was great, the rooms were spacious and clean, great value for price.

The hallway had a strong wet carpet smell but dehumidifiers were already in place and by the end of the second day the smell was almost all gone. The elevator never got in my way but it was the smallest one I've ever seen.
Breakfast was good, not a lot of variety but what was served was well prepared and very handy nevertheless. The room was awesome, big, clean and very comfortable.

When we checked in the room we were allocated smelt of smoke. We asked to move rooms and they agreed. Website said there was a free shuttle bus to local metro, however when we arrived they informed us that this would not be available for us, which was disappointing.

The coffee machine.
We stayed one night. Check in late, check out early. But the room was clean and comfortable. The coffee machine didn’t work and the key ring cups were decaffeinated but we didn’t care. The coffee from the breakfast was good.

The carpets outside of the rooms like in the lobby area need to be changed completely ripped out and maybe just put laminate like I had in my room I think the outside could be spruced up a bit, just make it look more inviting The paper plates at breakfast need to go
