Well, really there is a train that goes by all the time and its a bit noisy but they provide ear plugs. I mean, you are in the wild so no complaints

I was actually very surprised by the facilities. Even the restaurant was nice. For what I have heard I thought it was a so so place, but we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and nice desk reception

Communication from management to staff and to customers.

They told 5:30am - 7:30am there is breakfast but after we got there we were told that their manager changed the time and breakfast won't be served. The lady was still nice enough to give us something since we were told something else and the changed happened without us being told.

Good standard hotel giving access to tours at Grand Canyon West

In the 2 bedded rooms - there is very little space around the beds and the chair that is placed in the room is so squashed that it is not an area to relax in, so it might as well be removed. The desk is also quite cramped. The check in staff are not unfriendly, but they are not proactive in their customer service in any way. Service in the restaurant is polite but slow. Finally the trains are VERY noisy, even though there is fair warning. They do provide ear plugs but that does not help. There is some noise through the connecting doors too - and as people get up very early for tours it can be disturbing.

The hotel is in a great location for accessing the white water rafting and other tours to Grand Canyon West or as a stop over on the way back to Las Vegas. It is a standard type of motel/hotel in this region. Rooms have fridges and microwaves. Wifi is good. There is a restaurant onsite. Easy parking. There is a great upstairs lounge area where we were able to relax when our tour was cancelled due to guest "no shows". The tour company is affiliated to the hotel and they handled this difficulty well, offering a refund - though we are yet to receive this.

The train tracks ran close to the hotel and trains ran all night long, preventing us from sleeping soundly. The front desk sold earplugs and we should have gotten some.

Conveniently located on our way to Hualapai Hilltop and loved that it had a restaurant on site with a variety of choices. Everything was clean and staff were nice.

    The train

This property is located on an American Indian Reservation, it is very close to an access off road (road to the Grand Canyon. It’s a fantastic location to explore the canyon. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to do that. The staff were amazing.

Restaurant food was below average at best. Really bad.

Super clean, spacious layout, nice rooms and mattresses; nice bathroom. Gift/sundry shop open and available even late or early. Restaurant also open late which allowed us to eat in the evening after we drove in around 7:30 pm.

The only reason we have it an 8 was the train that ran constantly. It did seem to quiet down in the middle of the night but it seemed like it ran every 15-30 minutes which was hard to ignore when you were trying to sleep. The front desk did provide ear plugs to help with this which was nice.

We stayed here the night before our hike to Havasu falls so having the restaurant in the hotel was great! We were able to eat a great meal the night before our hike!

The breakfast buffet is not worth the price. The eggs were cold, bacon was sitting in its own grease, and there was no sausage. So very limited.

This hotel is not near the Grand Canyon Skywalk. It is a 2 hour drive from here. It is hard to find a number to call them directly.

The hotel was better then expected. Very large clean rooms. Bed mattress fully wrapped, no bed bug worries. Rooms do adjoin with a door. The have microwave, small fridge, and K cup coffee maker in the rooms. In Some of the reviews it mentioned the train. There is a train but we did not need ear plugs it was fine. There were 9 of us we had 3 rooms and stayed 2 nights. The food at the restaurant was very good, service was great. We tried the pizza, wings, hamburgers and fries, chicken strips, chicken wrap, taco salad, Hualapai ( spoken with a W sound not an H Sound) fry bread tacos, fried pickles ( they have a little spicy kick to them.) They do charge a 50 dollar deposit for incidentals that is refunded to your card after the stay. The pool and jacuzzi are well heated. There is a Gym.

Noise from train horns was frequent but we were placed in rooms near the front of the building which lessened the disturbance during the night.

The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The lodge was able to provide adjacent/connecting rooms at the front of the building as requested to minimize noise. Service at the restaurant was friendly and efficient and dinner was tasty (especially the frybread!). It was a pleasant stay and provided a nice start to our Grand Canyon adventure.
