Everything was fine! And we had the hosts' personal cell phone numbers just in case we needed something else.

This is now our go-to place to stay when we need to get from Georgia to Texas! The family who runs this B&B is wonderful, and they make sure their property is wonderful too. There's plenty of very safe off-street parking in a lovely neighborhood, the rooms and bathrooms are not just beautiful but roomy, and the breakfast and coffee are just what we needed, a real home-cooked meal. Plus, both of the Huffman properties are historic and gracious old homes. Staying here is like walking into a slice of history.

Such a gracious house! We booked the large king room, and it was a lovely roomy space. The private bathroom was quite pleasant and up to date. There was so much room and storage space that if I needed to, I could have spent weeks in this room without feeling cramped or deprived. Our hosts were informative and charming, and the breakfast was fresh and ample.

There was debris left in the pool during my two night stay and was unusable. Front porch had debris and wasn’t clean. Lawn was littered with small limbs.

Everything was great. The unexpected was that our room was decorated very modern. In a historic home we expected the room to have more antique furniture but it was very modern.

The home is a beautiful place to stay! You chose what you wanted for breakfast the day before and it was delicious. They use fresh eggs from their farm and jams made from their garden. The owners were great to work with.

Kim and Jim were warm and welcoming hosts. Kim offered lots of information about the town of Minden, gave restaurant recommendations and provided an historical perspective on their two properties. I was even given my choice of breakfast entrees. I will definitely return to Huffman House B&B!

Beautiful, quaint home perfectly upgraded and decorated by the owners into a lovely BnB. Extremely large room with very comfortable king-size bed tastefully decorated. Plus, your choice of homemade breakfast! Kimberly is a friendly, gracious hostess who showed us this beautiful place, plus a tour of the other 1910 house they own nearby.

Everything at the B&B was wonderful - just wish there was a little more to do in Minden. Really liked the antique shops though!

The breakfast was good - we enjoyed about 1 1/2 hours conversing with the other guests. Our hosts were amazing!

Each evening we were able to preselect the breakfast of our choice from several options. I was surprised to learn that HGTV filmed a Home Town segment in Minden. Probably because the entire historic area is so architecturally majestic!

Our reservation got changed to the Huffman Manor and it was gorgeous. The room was very comfortable.

The guest rooms are upstairs, so be prepared for that. Not unusual for a Bed & Breakfast, though.

The bed was WONDERFUL!! Breakfast was delicious! We drive a Toyota Highlander, so the driveway wasn't an issue, but we think a big dually or king cab truck would not be able to get in the narrow, brick-walled driveway - you would have to park in the street. The Huffmans are lovely people.

The Huffman's were courteous very knowledgeable of the local cuisine. They also took extra care to make sure our rooms were next to each other and were extremely accommodating for our dogs. We will stay again.

I love to sleep in complete darkness (just weird me) and the room was a bit bright.

The location was perfect for our needs. We were spending a few days checking out state parks in the area. I had the blueberry pancakes for breakfast. Sooo good! And the best coffee on our trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend! And, almost forgot, Geaux Tigers! 😉
