Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Rooms and bathrooms are small. Would have been nice to have an actual fridge to store some food items. The room was clean and quiet.
Hotel is nice. Perfect location to get around along the main strip of Alexandria.

There’s no parking. You have to pay $40 a day for parking. There’s parking garages 5 minute walk and only $20 a day.
It was spotless clean, one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Having to pay for bottle of water!
Very clean, comfortable bed and good shower. Room was quiet and a great location for Metro, trolley bus and Old Town.

The valet price is a bit high. One day the wait time for the car was extensive and made me late to my appointment.
The second I walked into the room I was pleasantly surprised and greeted by a nice smell and clean room. The water pressure in the shower is strong once you figure out how to turn the water on ;) Location is great. Restaurant was good.

A staff member got our reservation confused and called at 4:15 AM to say we were in the wrong room. This was disconcerting, but was corrected in the morning.
Clean, comfortable room with excellent bed. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Location was perfect for us.

I appreciated the comfort level of the bed. However, the pillows were not comfortable. Very flat. I found it affected my sleep for the 2 nights I was there.
This was a fantastic location. Easy to catch the trolley down to the riverfront, but also walkable to many areas on and around King Street. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean and appreciated the variety in the gym.

The adjoining restaurant has terrible food.
This property is conveniently located to visit Old Town as well as DC without a car. It’s a block from the Metro Station at KingSt and a few stops from the Airport. Close to restaurants and shopping. Stay here instead of downtown DC. Safe. Nice hotel.

The room lacked a microwave or a fridge. This was a HUGE disappointment in such a nice motel. One more desk chair in the room would have been welcome.
We selected this motel primarily due to location. It was close to the Amtrak and the Metro. Walking to several nice restaurants was a bonus. The decor of the lobby and room was cozy and pleasant. Bed was very comfy. The Indochen restaurant was excellent. The motel staff was very pleasant at every interaction. Everyone had a nice smile.

Since parking garage is small, parking is Valet only. Not an issue but was inconvenient on several occassions. Otherwise Like everything.
Perfect location on King Street, close to shops and resturants and Metro. Hotel had a lovely lobby and resturant. Room was expeically cozy and comfortable. Room on the small size for 2 beds but not an issue.

The parking is very expensive for 40 USD overnight, find a public parking garage nearby and remember, sundays parking is free.
It was a spotless clean bedroom. A very comfortable bed. The location is very good, close to the metro-Amtrak stations. The staff was helpful. The King’s street is full of bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

There wasn’t a small toothpaste in the bathroom with the other small items in case you forget to pack.
Very convenient location in Old Town Alexandria starting on King St walking was a nice 20 minute walk to the water dock. Room was spotless and very clean. Bonus: The shower had amazing pressure!

The man at the front desk was snooty, acted like he had to force himself to be barely nice. The valet gentleman was amazing. I had some billing questions after my stay and the woman who I got on the phone was rude and snooty as well. Everyone acted like they were doing me a huge favor by providing customer service.
The room was nice and clean with some interesting features. Location was amazing. Bar was nice.

no where to self park on premises so we had to pay valet.
we loved how comfy and clean everything was. there was no room service due to their restaurant closing. but there were many restaurants nearby. the bed was comfortable. we are spoiled with our sleep number bed at home but we slept fine with their bed.
