Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe windows of the room were not very sound proof so the street noise was loud. The breakfast room was to small für the amount of people so it was not easy to find a table.
The location, the staff, the breakfast and the room were very good.

GermanyThe breakfast was ok but not great. Expected more for the money. Rubbery eggs, terrible bread, sweetened cereal & yoghurt. Coffee served only in paper cups so got cold quickly. Maybe also ask for a higher floor when booking, as we were on the 4th floor above the garbage bin collection area of the hotel, and were woken up early with the noise.
The family room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Friendly staff. The location was excellent. We arrived by car and were able to easily park it across from the hotel for USD 27 per night using an arrangement with the hotel. Travelling to Manhattan was also very easy, the PATH train stop is right across from the hotel and takes around 10 mins / 1 stop to the WTC in Manhattan. Gorgeous views of the Manhattan skyline from the rooftop bar / breakfast room. Rooftop Bar has lovely outdoor seating area - nice atmosphere.

United States of AmericaEach morning the breakfast was cold, and they ran out of silverware. Ate at the rooftop restaurant, it was very expensive and the food was not good. The drinks however, were quite good. Figuring out how to get into the parking lot was very difficult and we circled the block at least three times.
Like that breakfast was included

United KingdomBreakfast was fairly standard fair-we had hoped for better-and we felt the breakfast area needed more seating-it would have been nice not to have to share tables with other guests. We started to eat out for breakfast by the end of our stay.
Spectacular views from the rooftop bar, comfortable beds in a quiet and spacious room. Location was great with a Path train practically on the doorstep to get over to Manhattan easily. 10 min walk to the livelier Grove St area of New Jersey City. Easy transfer from Newark Airport too.

SwitzerlandThe location is perfect, the subway station is 1 min away. As well as the view from the breakfast area is spectacular. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and very spacious. We had enough space to open both of our suitcases. The only thing that confused us was that reception was not on the First floor but on the top floor (TR).

United KingdomNot enough pillows and none in the wardrobe and one night an alarm was going off for 30-40 minutes close to midnight, didn't know whether we would have to leave the hotel - in the morning there was no mention of it. The restaurant needs a member of staff there to seat people as they arrive. Each morning (especially weekend) we would come down as a family of 6 and find there were no tables large enough. There are a few tables large enough to seat us but there would be one or two people sat there taking their time with one drink. You wouldn't find that in the UK as someone would make sure the restaurant was being utilised properly and everyone was happy. Also, found there not to be a huge choice for breakfast, I'm sure if pancakes or muffins are on the menu it wouldn't take much to just keep them coming and make sure there's plenty, providing lots of condiments/spreads.
Great room, really good size with plenty storage to put clothes away. The lobby smelled amazing! The gentleman who greeted us as we arrived gave us lots of info and was really nice and helpful. Coming from the UK it is confusing for us when we are supposed to tip. If you had a tip jar there we would definitely put some in there but it feels so awkward to hand a guy some money.

AustriaI have an international credit card, which works everywhere, But in this hotel my card did work. Thank god I have also applepay, by which I paid the hotel. Otherwise I did not know what should I do? Some staffs on frontdesk were not so friendly.
This time is the 2. time, that we visited NY. We flew from Austria to airport Newark. Therefore I booked this Hotel in Jersey City, which located at exchange place 1. The Path Train is next to the Hotel, by which we could reach WTC (only one station) very fast. There are two Hyatt's at exchange place 1. Last time I booked another Hyatt hotel, which is s litte bit more expensive than this one. This Hotel is Hyatt house, a little bit budgeter one. Because during new year time, all Hotels are very expensive. I decided to book this budgeter one to save some money.-:) From platform of exchange place the skyline of NY is so beautiful!

GermanyIt’s very noisy and not well insulated. Our biggest struggle was the breakfast. There are not enough seats to eat and from 8am you can expect to queue up for at least 30min. The food is quite simple and they frequently run out of cutlery. House keeping is only every 3rd day and you need to order it. We needed 3 attempts for the house keeping to actually show up. Also we booked a studio with a sleeping sofa which was not prepared when we arrived. The sleeping sofa is also not good enough to sleep on for 8 nights. All together the hotel is quite badly organized and managed and considering we paid almost 600€ a night that much mismanagement is not acceptable.
The location is great with amazing views.
