Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Japan- The blankets, especially for the sofa bed, could have been thicker and warmer, like a comforter or duvet
- Location was fantastic -- short walk to the food truck cartel, downtown Beaverton, and train station to allow for easy access to downtown, Hillsboro, and other parts of greater Portland - The downstairs lobby was a good area to hang out in, work quietly, etc. - The room layout used space very efficiently, providing space between the sofa, kitchen, and bedroom. - Nice closets and bathroom - The room was very bright with big windows and natural lighting

CanadaHaving to pay 30.00 per night for valet parking is a bit steep. This should be made very clear when booking the hotel. They do not have any self parking only valet.
New, clean, large rooms.

United States of AmericaAfter several days, breakfast pickings had become quite slim. Presuming this was the result of cancelled/delayed weather-related deliveries. Still, we were happy to have breakfast available.
This was an unplanned stay resulting from storm damage and power outages. Hyatt House is short distance from home and was inundated with similarly affected residents. Love that facility is pet-friendly. Staff was friendly and patient and made every attempt to accommodate our request for stay extension while waiting for utility to restore power to our home. Thank you!

United States of AmericaI've stayed at a couple of Hyatt Place hotels before (not Hyatt House, though) and was sad to use paper plates and plastic cups, utensils etc. I do understand the difficulty of washing everything, but the single-use aspect of everything was a little disappointing. When I'm eating breakfast in a hotel, I don't want to feel like I'm eating at a fast food spot. Not a deal-breaker, though!
Breakfast was great, everything else was well-prepared, eggs potatoes and bacon or sausage. Ice cold orange juice, sekf-serve waffles if you wanted them, and the coffee was delicious, too! 10/10!

United States of AmericaA couple of the reception staff were disengaged and practically unfriendly, staring at their phones, playing games on the computer (I could see when I passed by) or just generally cold. The hotel was nearly empty but we were put in a room facing a parking lot and right next to trains for some reason. Ended on a bad note when it was so difficult to get our final bill. The receptionist wasn't there, the valet helped me leave my email address for her, 5 days later still no invoice, I tried getting it on hyatt.com, and booking.com with no luck so I had to call back and try again and I'm still waiting.
The breakfast was wonderful, most of the staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. Got housekeeping whenever we needed it. We were grateful they could find us a roll-in/walk-in shower. We loved being so close to the food trucks and two main roads so I could walk to stores we needed. Most staff were very friendly, including the valet we never used!

United States of AmericaIn a newly developed area of high rises in Beaverton it almost felt like you were staying in an abandoned city. Only a few restaurants and no shops nearby. The trendy gray color scheme was depressing.
The hotel seems fairly new. The staff was great. Less than a block from public transport.

United States of AmericaParking fee was $40. We didn’t realize we were going to have to pay additional parking on top of the reservation. I found that information after the fact. This site indicates it will be $30, so your site is wrong (or we were over charged).

United States of AmericaMy only complaint is that it wasn't clear on the Booking.com listing that it was valet parking only at the property or parking at a garage a few blocks away. It was confusing when we arrived and we weren't expecting to have to pay for valet. I think it just needs to be made more clear on the listing so people know ahead of time!
The room was very clean and I loved the big windows! It was well-equipped with everything we needed from toiletries to glasses and a wine opener. The bed was really comfortable and I really liked being able to control the temp in our room. The staff was very friendly, especially the valet guys, we appreciated that! We also utilized the complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste, since we forgot ours at home for our quick trip. I also loved the location. The hotel is about a block away from an amazing food truck court and other restaurants.

United States of AmericaI’m extremely annoyed with their new valet parking. Apparently they use a parking garage a few blocks away when it’s an “overflow”in order to keep taking cars, but they do not inform the guests of this. I was prepared to leave @ 4:30 am to catch my early morning flight. I could not find my rental car in the hotel parking lot and was told by the hotel clerk it might be in the parking garage a few blocks away. Since it was still dark outside I was scared to go to where the hotel desk clerk stated where I might be able to find the car. Long story short I had to drag my luggage over there to find the car and I missed my flight. Their system for valet parking doesn’t work if you are parking your hotel guests cars somewhere else and not informing your guests.

United States of AmericaThe omlette from the omlette chef was the worst I've ever had. Like a hard egg patty, folded with remnants of stuff in it that resembled the requested ingredients. Not too disappointed because I never have high hopes for a free hotel breakfast. The parking is a bit of a drag, but then again...that goes for all of Portland.
Location and amenities. Gorgeous and clean property. Friendly staff. The neighborhood was quiet and the room was tastefully appointed. Will return if in the area.
