I don't believe there was anything about the hotel we didn't like. Our room faced the highway, and our view was the top of the lobby roof. As we were only visiting for one night, it wasn't important and we could have asked for a different view, so this was not considered an issue for us.

Check-in at the Hyatt was seamless, which is important after a day of travel. The hotel offered a great lobby for relaxing, plus small cubby areas for reading or privacy. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food and cocktail choices, which was very enticing. In the morning, the breakfast area was neat and clean, with offerings such as sausage and eggs, waffles, and fruit and yogurt, plus fresh juices and coffee. It was the experience we were looking for!

Flew in for outpatient surgery, but had to stay local for a few days. My family has stayed here previously and we absolutely love the hotel! The beds are so comfortable (even after surgery)! Rooms super clean, breakfast delicious, my husband said my son enjoyed the pool, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!!

We used the pull out couch for our children. The couch had Cheetos and other food items under the cushions before pulling out the bed. I feel that the couch should be cleaned between stays. Once the bed was out the room was very small only leaving a small walk path for movement. Other than that the stay and everything else was great!

I did not like the overnight delay of receiving a refill of toilet paper for my room, but other than that, everything was AWESOME!

The breakfast was phenomenal!! The staff were beautiful people inside and out, they really made my family's trip to Alaska a trip to remember! They were exceptionally helpful and kind. They went up and beyond to help with any and everything from providing rides to downtown or the airport, to making sure my older parents were fed when we arrived very late from the airport. Their kindness and service was intentional and truly a blessing. Awesome hotel! I highly recommend!!!

The few things I can think of was the small amount of parking in front of the hotel. I had to park in the back and I will admit it was a bit uncomfortable for me. Maybe more lighting. I would add that it would be an extra benefit to have a recommended directory or guide book on where to eat with phone numbers in the room with a notepad and pen. Not anything we didn't like, just these suggestions. Thank you again!

I was pleasantly surprised, because you never really know what you're going to get. This seemed like a fairly new hotel. I was very happy with room and breakfast. The breakfast was amazing the hotel and room was immaculate. The best thing though was the service and the staff!! So thoughtful and helpful. We had a late flight and they were able to go run a late check out and we spent all afternoon in the lounge area and bar and we were so comfortable. They were all so helpful and welcoming! We wouldn’t stay any place else in Anchorage!

Towels in the pool area were out

The staff was very friendly. The room was new, clean and comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner were in refillable containers. Blinds made the room dark, so it was possible to sleep early in the summer. Area is quiet. Lots of parking. Breakfast was good.
