Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThey closed the pool for part of our stay. They had to do regular maintenance, so we understood, but we specifically chose a place with a pool so our children could swim. Just disappointing, but certainly didn’t ruin our stay. Pool is fairly small, but it is a very nice pool. We had a view of a brick wall. Not the end of the world but they did ask preference at check in and still gave us that 🤷♀️
Great location. Very clean. Pleasantly surprised that the breakfast was way better than any continental breakfast I’ve had before. Lots of variety and changed each day slightly.

United States of AmericaHotel is a little boring from the standpoint that some room windows are in alley close to other buildings so no view and the only window in hall is small and right next to another room door, pool looked nice but at the end of a day a hot tub would be what I look for
Hotel wad fairly clean, our room was real quite! And while the building beside obstructed any views of the city it kept it dark in the morning even without black out blind pulled

United States of AmericaThe food menu in the hotel was bare to none. An upgraded menu with more then 10 items would be appreciated by all. Atleast have a kids menu! There was not a single go to kids item!
The room was clean and up to par. It was a safe and comfortable environment.

ChileThe breakfast service was not the best. As it was St Paddy's weekend it was busy so they run of food quick with some been replaced while other was not. It offered a sofa bed but no linen for it, had to ask for it to get it. That should be available in the room itself Reservation was for room with a view, let just say no view from our room.
The location of the Hotel is great near the river and Millennium Park Nice bar area Good friendly staff and were really nice to provide assistance when was needed.

United States of AmericaBreakfast area is handicap UNfriendly. My son is special needs and requires a special needs stroller because he is non verbal & elopes. The first morning we attempted breakfast and it was a disaster trying to get him and his brother food, along with myself in that tight small area where food is served. Also, only was a high top table to sit at due to being so overcrowded so he was unable to use the table. The next morning I decided to buy breakfast elsewhere to avoid the trouble.
Location was convenient.

United States of AmericaNot only the price for parking in the car park was a little much but the whole parking being separate from the hotel. I do understand because of location it’s that way but still not too pleasant. And not having a microwave or vending machines for drinks wasn’t ideal.
Overall experience was excellent great from the safety of having to scan to use the elevator to the cleanliness of the room.

FranceThe buffet room is full and not so much space , better to extend the hours The people at the front desk should release their phone while we are asking something Make pay 12/13 Dollars a cocktail done by a machine it is very expensive ( even if they are not so bad)
The place near to the loop and the downtown of Chicago (easy for the river and the differents subway) The buffet could be ok but there is some other many place outside Room are ok in terms of space ( for a city) but the ones near to the building are darker

United States of AmericaDidn't care at all for the location. Nearly impossible to find via GPS, as you had to go down an alley to be able to park and load/unload your vehicle, and then try to find a nearby place to park and walk back to the hotel. Elevators were down for a while while we were there and we had to use the stairway, which we didn't care for. And the pool wasn't available, which was a HUGE disappointment.
Breakfast was great, if you got there early. Otherwise, it was very crowded and the selection wasn't as good, and you were very lucky to find a place to sit to eat. The room was quiet and comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe room was not cleaned the day before departure. I understand the environmental reasons but this should have been pointed out during our check-in and we should be given the option to opt out. The breakfast is free but not really up to par for this hotel's quality. We had it on the first day but decided it was not worth the hassle on the second day.
The room was spacious and it offered a great city view. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were of acceptable thickness/firmness. Generally, the stay was quite pleasant and the location is superb as you can walk within 10 to 20 minutes to most of the major landmarks and sites.

New ZealandBreakfast was just to busy. At ,east 20 mins in a line for one of the days and not enough seating. They do give you peak times so definitely eat at non peak.
Excellent location. It’s hard to find a hotel that will fit a family of 4 as USA hotels do not do twins. So the sofa bed was a good option. Clean rooms which are a good size nice and quiet.
