Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaJakub was the kindest and most helpful front desk person I've come across. I came back from my room to find a cockroach in it. Jakub immediately put me in a different room and took care of the situation. Much appreciated.

United States of AmericaCheck in time was at 3 and when I arrived at 3:30pm I was informed my room wasn’t ready.. they told me it would be over an hour til my room was ready.. this was very frustrating and the staff acted if they did not care. They didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience.. the lady working said they would “text me” when the room was ready and in fact- never texted me! I ended up calling around 4:30.. an hour and a half after my room was supposed to be ready and the lady replied- “oh yeah, sorry your room is ready” Not professional. Just did not care for the guests or my time. Super frustrating. Unlikely I will return for this fact.. which is again, frustrating as everything else was good
Place was clean, did the job that was needed but I did notice a lot of finger prints on all our windows and a few in the bathroom.

CanadaWe had to ask for extra towels and coffee mugs even though the reservation stated it was for 5 people.
Proximity to everything, we attended a concert at the Van Andel and the walk was fast, and restaurants were close.

United States of AmericaThe location of the hotel was perfect for walking around downtown. The room was so spacious and incredibly clean. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was super clean. Loved that you had to use your room key to even get into the lobby. That felt very safe. Would Definitely stay here again.

United States of AmericaParking was quirky and slightly confusing
Excellent location, easy walk to lots of restaurants , etc., comfortable bed, good shower (and love that shampoo, conditioner and body wash were in environmentally friendly pump bottles); AC that didn’t make too much noise

United States of AmericaI did not realize that I had reserved a handicap room and the front desk was unable to accommodate. The toilet in our original room (with a king bed) was not working and we had two options: stay in the room with the broken toilet or move to a room with two queen beds. We had a nice view of a brick wall...
The breakfast options were good and the food was delicious.

GermanyDowntown has it's cons as well. It tends to get fairly loud on the street at night, expecially on the weekend. Also, 30$/night for parking is kind of a rip off.
It's right downtown, the loation is very good. The beds are very comfortable, you really feel this place is fairly new. The breakfast was pretty good as well, with a lot of variety offered, though I wouldn't mind a few more non-sweet options. The clocks next to the beds had USB-slots, which was a life-saver, because I did not have any US-adapters with me and that allowed me to charge my phone anyways.

United States of AmericaPARKING! The parking garage was $20 a night... WAY too expensive for an extended stay. If there wasn't the ridiculous parking fee, I would be staying here instead of my usually place when I am in GR for work. The parking garage was horrible. Tight, small and the line to leave was always long and took forever. You have to keep your key card, even after you check out. People couldn't figure out how to work it so leaving the hotel was always a pain. Of course nobody there to help. Parking ruined the whole experience.
Beautiful hotel in downtown GR. Gorgeous on the inside, 3 fully functioning elevators, a small café that had Starbucks coffee and snacks in the morning and a sports bar for the evening. The most comfortable bed and sheets ever... The room was clean and large, loved the living room / pull out couch area. Big Samsung TVs with streaming services, a mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker that used compostable Kcups. AC worked great and the showers where huge, updated and really nice. They had nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash too. LOVED the little porch off the room, watched fireworks right from our balcony, a thunderstorm and a car accident all in our stay :D. I usually stay further into downtown at another hotel but really loved the Embassy Suites. The pool was really nice and clean, they also had adult swim from 10-11 pm which we loved! The hot tub was indoor / outdoor which was also really cool. Breakfast was not the best tasting but had bacon, eggs, sausage and waffles, and was great to have available.

United States of AmericaThe room we booked was not like pictures, original pictures featured a kitchenette and when we got there pictures were gone and kitchenettes was not advertised on property. There was a mini fridge and no microwave and room did not have a walk in shower as advertised either. The city view was not very pretty either, a lot of parking garages and dirty rooftops but not terrible. Breakfast was out of forks and a lot of food and hour before closed. Fryer was out for restaurant at night as well. Parking was on street for pay per hour or $35 a day at hotel. For price we paid it should be included. Air kicked on and was loud and woke us up several times a night.
It was close to everything we needed and short trip to the beach. Very friendly neighborhood. Staff was outstanding!! Couldn’t have been friendlier and more accommodating!
