Two things: 1. The hotel says they serve breakfast until 10am. When we went down at 9:30, there was not much to select from. They advertise that they locally source food with beautiful photos of bacon and a hot breakfast, but we didn't have the pleasure of having that. There was a handful of hard, over cooked sausage, bottom of the barrel oatmeal, some hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and bread and apples. Our rate included breakfast, so I was a bit disappointed in the selections. It was more like a continental breakfast. If you advertise breakfast until 10am, you should have all the items available until then. 2. I really wanted to pay for the room with a different card upon arrival. They ran the payment in the morning of my arrival and put it on the card that was required to be added when I booked it. So if you want to pay for it in a different way, you can't.

The hotel itself is very nice! It was exceptionally clean, the rooms were very spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Better stocked wipes or sprays/paper towel to sanitize exercise equipment.

Nice space for the breakfast. Glad it was real utensils, not plastic. Cut up fruit would be nice. Be sure a staff member checks more often during peak time to ensure utensils are there and that milk, drinking water, other items have not run out. The fitness room was sparse but gave me what I needed. The room itself was comfortable, spacious, clean and quiet. It's always nice at a Hyatt Place to have a hangout area separate from the sleep zone.

Breakfast is really good. The eggs are awesome. The rooms are outfitted with vinyl wood plank. Not sure why all hotels don't do that. Much easier to clean and sanitize.

Everything appeared to be very clean but there was a small section of mold around our shower which was disappointing.

It would have been nice to have a hot tub, instead of just the indoor pool. Not a deal breaker, though.

The room was very spacious and clean. The person at check-in was very helpful. FYI, if you are staying due to someone in the family having a procedure next door at IU North Carmel, before booking, check for discount through the hospital. I didn't, the clerk said we could have saved at least 10%.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences. First, there was no microwave in the room. We worked around it by eating out most of the time. The 2nd was lack of kid friendly TV channels. The TV only had about 20 channels and wasn't smart enough for you to connect your tablet/phone to it either.

Cleanliness stood out. This was probably the cleanest place I have stayed at in the past three years. The room size was great too. We were traveling with two young ones and we did not feel cramped at all. The WiFi was also very good (albeit insecure like all other hotels).

The only negative, and this is being picky... is the acoustics of the swimming pool area was so so so loud. With five 10yo boys and a couple dads, it was deafening at times. A little sound deadening material would go along way except that it is rather humid.

The breakfast was delish and wonderful to have a hot meal that I didnt have to make myself!
