There wasn't much to dislike. The small swimming pool next to the hotel was a bit dingy (but the one near the harbor was fine). And parking isn't free. You have to pay 20 dollars per day.

Friendly reception. We had a nice stay as a family. The hotel is centrally located on the Keys and is close to the main road. You can use a small swimming pool at the marina and there is a restaurant (haven't been there). The room was spacious and neat.

I don't think they should charge for parking. Some of the wallpaper in the bathroom and the mirror are showing their age, but I understand a remodel is on the way.

Be aware that although you booked the room in the Resort, you can be transfered to the near Merriot Courtyard hotel as it is sister hotel.

The sleeper couch was a little bit uncomfortable for my kids. Only this very small complaint.

We had a few issues for the first couple of days – no hot water in the room and a very poor wifi signal. We were adequately compensated by the hotel though and the hot water was soon working again. We were offered a room switch but we didn't want to give up the great view and like I said, the problem was soon fixed so no big deal.

We were welcomed with a complimentary arrival cocktail and the members of staff we spoke to at the reception desk were polite and friendly. Our room was clean, modern and spacious and had a great view of the sea. The fitness centre was basic but nice to have and the free bike hire was also very handy for getting to nearby restaurants, the Turtle Hospital and Sombrero Beach. There were a lot of great bars and restaurants close by and this was a great base for exploring the rest of the Keys.

Resort fees are ridiculous.. it’s like you can stay in our room, but you can’t use the pool or whatever. Plus you can stay here but you can’t park your car without a fee. All of that should be a part of your stay.. include it in the price that you are advertising.

The staff at the restaurant was not so kind we us. The told us there was no more available table outside (no reservation). However they offered an outside table to the next party of 5 (no reservation)

When I booked the vacation I saw some reviews about pending construction asked if there was gonna be construction during my week there they said they don’t know when the construction date starts. I booked a month and a half early when I got there staying in my room I hear jackhammers vibrating the walls and ceilings while I’m trying to relax. A day in my vacation I find out that we’re allowed to use the amenities at their sister hotels nobody told us that on check in.
