Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We stayed here for a sports tournament and chose the property largely for it's convenient location. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The rooms are clean and updated and the breakfast buffet had a lot to offer.

I was not informed that you have to tell the front desk if you want house keeping to clean room and get towels and dump garbage and then you have to come and get the towels and bring down your Garbage

The facility is outdated and needs to be remodeled. Wet ceiling tiles need to be replaced and could be cleaned better.
The rooms were spacious and the price of the room was good.

Our car GPS had a hard time getting us to the hotel. The building isn’t easily seen from the main road since it was set within the area of the industrial park. Also I was charged a hefty pet fee.
The pet-friendly room was near an exit door for quick exit when needed for my dog. The breakfast was good and coffee was made available early. The location was quiet over the weekend as it is in an industrial area. I saw a deer one morning!

A black light skinned female staff member who was working the front desk was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable my entire stay. When I checked into the hotel she’s telling me about her problems and how she wants to go home. That same night my wife and I go to the bar pay for drinks another staff member made. She pops up 15 mins before we leave the bar complaining to the pregnant female staff member about her problems again. Making that area of the bar uncomfortable to be in. My wife and I decided to get up and leave and the angry complaining female staff stops and asks us “did we pay for our tab” with an attitude. We told her yes we had already been taken care of by another staff member who was still present at the bar. She rolls her eyes and looks at the register to try and confirm. It’s like she wanted to find something wrong so she can have something to say to justify her apparent subtle hostility towards us. Every other staff member was kind it was just this particular person. Didn’t catch a name but description is: 25-35 yr old black light skinned female shorter than 5’5 was wearing a black zip up jacket. Her hair was in a ponytail. The security cameras can verify all footage of me checking and being serviced by this unprofessional individual. Please start doing mystery audits on your staff. No one has the right to make individuals feel uncomfortable just because you’re having a bad day. She should’ve stayed home with that attitude. Please keep staff like her out of range of handling customers.
Breakfast was really good; a lot of options to choose from.

The smell and I’m sure I left my pajamas pants. I was haven’t called yet so I really can’t complain. But I was hoping staff would have contacted me
I don’t smoke but areas in the hotel reeked of Marijuana. I guess if I don’t want to smell the stink I need to pay $300 a night or better.

When booking online there was no mention of a deposit needed. Making a deposit was not a problem, just thought it should have included that in the information provided online.
Location was good. Inside was nice lobby area was nice. Bar was open until 11pm. The room was very nice, and bed was super comfortable. Good night stay.

Breakfast could have been better. Out of a lot of different foods. Room was a little dated; no USB ports; soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Expected a little more from Hyatt brand.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure was good. Room was clean and spacious with a sitting area.

The toilet in our room had a hard time flushing.
Room was fantastic. Nice and clean. Breakfast was good and staff quickly attended to anything that ran out due to the crowd. Front desk was friendly!

The bed.
