To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaWe did have an issue with the A/C in our room. We could not get the A/C to stay on or cool enough to keep the room from getting damp. The front desk did have maintenance come up and change the filter...but it still did not help. So we kept the fan on as cool as possible and just made the best of it!!
We didn't make it down everyday for breakfast, but when we did it exceeded our expectations!! Our room was the perfect size!! We've stayed here before so we knew the location was perfect for our visit!!

United States of AmericaDESK LADY WAS VERY HELPFUL WHEN IT TURNED OUT THAT OUR RESERVATION WAS SCREWED UP, AND NEVER GOT TO THE FRONT DESK COMPUTER. SHE TRACED THE PROBLEM DOWN AND SUGGESTED ANOTHER WAS TO GET RESERVED AND CHECKED IN. IT WAS A VERY SHORT WALK TO THE PIER TO BOARD OUR CRUISE SHIP.

United States of AmericaToilet ran on and on, NO vent or air circulation in bathroom. Staff was quick to acknowledge you with a hello as you walked in. Angelisa found my friends wallet and immediately put it in safe place. Laverne was quick to solve house keeping solutions after requests to front desk and on phone with housekeeping for extra blanket and towels twice did not deliver.

United States of AmericaThis is by far the most run down Hyatt I've been to. Technically this is the only run down Hyatt I've been to. Clearly old, in desperate need for a renovation. The drain in the shower was not working and there was no shower gel. The staff agreed to move me to another room. The lock malfunctioned a couple of times but luckily it worked on the 10th or so attempt. The key to use the elevators is to hold the card steady at the reader for a few seconds UNTIL it lights green (as instructed on the label). The area seemed a bit sketchy on a Saturday night but was OK the other days of my stay. Related to that: You need the card key to get into the hotel but the front desk will open the door for you when you arrive.
The staff was welcoming and helpful.

Loved that while a multiple day stay we still received the little extras (moisturiser, make up remover) everyday … usually not the case. Staff extremely friendly and helpful

United States of AmericaKind of silly but the glass door was not great for families since the kids use the bathroom during the night. Every-time they did the light shined through the door waking everyone else up. The location is pretty close to a homeless camp and they don’t have a parking lot.
The room was a great size for our large family! The bathroom was renovated and clean. The breakfast had great options (they had like 4 options for different kinds of milks!) and the breakfast staff was very friendly. The location was very close to our cruise we were getting on too!
