Am pretty easy to please but scrambled eggs tasted unusual and bacon was turkey bacon. Heard other guests commenting about that as well.

Room was nice although door slams. Building as conversion was good. Food wasn't all that great for breakfast. Bathroom and shower terrific with good water pressure and temp.

No parking nearby. Valet was $32 per night. I went with the one room suite assuming the "room" had the bed. It did not. It was a conference room area.

    Nice large room. Great shower.

The first lady who checked me... totally dry. I m a visitor...welcome to Minnesota would have been nice. Is this your first time? Ask me anything... I m here to help. None of that. My bed was uncomfortable so the pillows. No view in the pool.

I like the location, it was my first trip and I found it easy to get around though it s a walk to find a convenient store. My purpose was a concert it was easy to get to and get from. It is a turn away from the airport and the mall. I liked the pool but I wished it had a view like the one in Minneapolis and a hot tub. I like the privacy and the breakfast buffet. After seeing several front desk people...at the end Brenda was the best. I was glad they let me check in earlier and stay an extra hour. I like my coach facing the window.

The front desk attendant was very rude checking out. Didn't greet us! Was visibly annoyed. When asked why she was unfriendly or helpful. She implied she had been working 15 hours, which is understandable but not an excuse to treat guests with no regard. We paid and was handed a receipt with out a thank you at all. We walked off and noticed the invoice only covered one of two rooms. We returned to the desk to ensure the other room was paid for and were rudely told the other was printing. Had we not returned, We wouldn't have been told we weren't done checking out. No, thank you's at all. We requested our car from the valet and heard her very loudly voicing that she was frustrated, exhausted, and obviously not happy to be there. Not a pleasant or professional first or last impression of such a reputable hotel chain.

The esthetic of the hotel, facility, location, cleanliness. Valet Attendents were very friendly.

Booking.com is the problem because they said there was onsite parking. There is only valet parking available. Nearest ramp 2 bocks away and no on street parking. I would not have booked this hotel.

Dust hanging from vents. Cold, bachelor pad decor feel. Marijuana wafting in hallways.

The room was very spacious and perfect for those who want to spread out. Very high ceilings, nice size entry, closets and bathroom. Facility was fairly quiet. I didn’t like the marijuana wafting in the hall, which is always distasteful to me when in shared spaces. The pool is not worth using as it’s 3ft deep, the breakfast was satisfactory and I felt safe. Valet parking is $25 a day all access. There was someone sleeping in the locked lobby on the marble floor, which is shared with condos. Hotel is buzz in. I found it a bit lacking in amenities and small details. Heavy dust in ceiling vents. But all in all it’s a nice sized hotel and decently maintained.

We stayed three nights. At no point did we have room service. One very little thing I love is having our bed made properly. I don’t need sheets changed, and the bathroom doesn’t need cleaning ( we keep things ordered). No replacement coffee pods! Also, when I make a comment that the breakfast makes IHG breakfasts (not the one at CDG in Paris) look good, that is saying something! Very disappointing. I honestly think it was much better last time we stayed there. Perhaps it was because our stay was over Christmas. Not sure.

We have stayed here before and we absolutely love the accommodation! It is just SO chic and the room is delightful on every way.

Ridiculous arrangements to check-in. No signage! Only one pull over place labeled Custom House Valet Parking. If missed, no next right turn was One Way and next left turn was approximately a mile away. No signage to ring bell and no one responded to attempt to open locked doors. Disinterested to rude staff. A year of dust on the light fixture over the pull out sofa.

Spacious room; high ceilings; close to Union Depot.

Big room in a cool building with spotty cleaning schedule
    • Business trip
    • Solo traveler
    • King Room with Sofa Bed
    • Stayed 11 nights

The hotel has a very unusual policy, which was nowhere evidently stated, regarding cleaning. They don't clean the room daily. Honestly, I was there for about twelve days and I never did figure out what the cleaning schedule was. That was a little annoying. Clean towels were a bit of an issue, and one day it was like they cleaned half the room but not the other half. It was strange and less than idea.

The building is really fun--it's an old post office--and the room was spacious with lovely and very high ceilings. The staff were all friendly but easy going in the right ways.
