We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThere was a man in the hallway overnight by my room for the last two nights of my stay. He just sat at the end of the hallway; he wasn't rude or anything, he actually never spoke. It was unusual that he was in the hallway. I could not tell if he was security or employed by the hotel.
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. They were still doing renovations, but it was not disruptive. Breakfast was also good. Check-in process was smooth and quick.

United States of AmericaIt doesn’t have tooth brushes etc and when I forgot mine and called front desk they told me they don’t have at that point. It’s a bummer because it was late and I didn’t want to go out and buy one. The breakfast was good but the bagels were almost gone and milk was almost empty when we tried to eat. Better to refill in a timely manner.
This Hyatt place sterling has been one of the best economic hotels around dc areas, near IAD airport (which has a metro station). Location is great, parking is free and easy. Surrounding area is quite and not much traffic. Also a Sam club gas and other places nearby. The hotel offers free shuttle service which is very nice. The room is descent maintained and has a small living room with sofa and coffee bar. Earlier check in before 3 is also doable based on their availability as well as late check out. Their staff were very nice and communications are easy. Alexis at front desk and shuttle bus driver Max were very nice people, they’ve made the hotel experience even better.

United States of AmericaThere was no coordination betwwen the hotel reception and the airport shuttle driver. When you arrive at the airport, you have to call the hotel for the shuttle, but the receptionist didn't tell the shuttle driver about my call, so I had to wait at the shuttle stand for almost an hour, and three calls.
The location of the hotel was great, only a few minutes from the airport. The room was comfortable and the breakfast (included) was pretty good. I wish they had more toasters at the breakfast room, so that guests didn't have to wait for a long time to get toast. Good value for the price.

United States of AmericaThe WiFi sucks! My movies or videos were buffering so much. I couldn't enjoy an online game play if I wanted to. My room smelled like bleach.
That I was close to my event I was attending for the time I was there. I enjoyed the hot Breakfast every morning. It never disappointed me. I was able to workout in the gym facility that was also available to kill time. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Free parking. Loved that.
