You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI booked for a King bed room, I received Double beds. At the property, I identified myself and said I had reservations, I was asked for my DL and nothing else. I was under the impression that Booking.com gave the Hotel all my request, the associate handed me two card keys and when I got to the room, I did not have a king bed. I was alone and needed only one bed in the room. I made these reservations with plenty of time and was not accommodated what I requested. The associate did not bother to tell me that the room I requested was not going to be available. I was too tired to go back down stairs and request the King room I had originally asked for months ago, I just needed to get in the room and start my studies as I had a very import exam the next morning.
The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds, sheets, and towels are comfortable and very clean. Based on my stay and observations, I could tell that the staff takes pride in getting the rooms ready for the next guest. The breakfast area exceeded my expectations. The staff in the breakfast area are very professional and friendly.

Then I was given a new room, and had to return to the desk twice because the keys didn't work. I was then given a different room. The bathroom was very dirty. There was debris all over the floor.
It was a good price for the night. And the breakfast was well done.
