The accommodations were quite sufficient for a one-night stay.

The staff acted quickly to address issues. That is not an issue. The staff is amazing. If I am renting a room called a suite I want it to have those features. The location was convenient to all I needed. Having been there for only one night I really cannot provide information on all of the aspects requiring a description.

The room was adequate. For the suite aspect, I would have expected an additional sitting room, an area for watching TV with the bed not in the same room if there were a need for this condition, and for the price it should have had more accommodations. The rate was jacked up due to graduation weekend. When I was first looking at it to book it it was $450+ a night. The price doubled as soon as the graduation dates were released. It felt more like a business motel experience but it has it's conveniences.

Traditional Hotel with great personnel. Improvable structure.

On the other hand, the hotel could benefit from some updates. The structure itself is showing signs of age, and certain areas could use renovation. The infrastructure, including the elevators and plumbing, seemed a bit outdated and in need of improvement. These updates would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is excellent, being conveniently close to both MIT and Boston University, making it ideal for visiting students or attending events at these institutions. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the super courtesy of the personnel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request or provide helpful information about the local area. Their warm and professional demeanor truly made me feel welcome. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was vibrant and positive, contributing to a pleasant stay. The public areas were clean and well-maintained, and the decor was modern and inviting. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The good vibes throughout the hotel made it a memorable experience. Whether enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant or simply relaxing in the lobby, the pleasant ambiance was evident. The Hyatt Regency Cambridge successfully combines a great location, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a top choice for anyone visiting the area.

Nice hotel, but good luck finding the stairs

There are only 4 really slow elevators that practically stop working when a lot of people are trying to use them. It took forever to find the stairs to get to the TWELFTH floor. Because of the building's shape, it's just one long staircase to the top so I was basically climbing a mountain to get to my room. This was only an issue when I arrived and I was able to use the elevators after that, but they could definitely be faster.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean room and an incredible view of the Charles River. In theory the design of the hotel is very cool but...

Main drawback is the location - its a bit out of the way if you don't have a car - but I have stayed here many times so it doesn't bother me. lots of places to walk from here. I even walked to and from TD Gardens and Boston Common (each 5 km one way), although T is easy to get at Main/MassAve or over the bridge at BU.

Gautam in the front desk was amazing. I had a problem downloading to my phone concert tickets I had bought on line. He worked with me for half an hour trying to find a way forward. All this in between serving guests - I couldn't ask anything more - he was Outstanding !!!! I also liked the bottles of water. I really liked Trader Joe's not being far away to get things not available at the hotel.

    Nothing to mention

The building even if probably not so new is interesting with four elevators visible from the internal open space. The room was with view at Charles river, beautiful. The parking is very good, large, self parking. A cafeteria în a Starbucks style is available în the hotel which is useful for a coffee or eating fast.

Maid service (bed was not made), phone did not work, we reported it and nobody came to fix it. Hotel is dated and very business like, Price doesn't match the amenities.

Like the room, spacious, nice view. Meal at the restaurant was fine too.
