Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The view was spectacular, the landscaping was beautiful, and the variety of activities available was great. Did not like having no room service and having to walk to restaurants since I was using a walker.

Our room had a door that could adjoin with the next room, which we did not use, but that may have been the reason we could hear everything going on in our neighbor's room. Unfortunately, we had rather loud and obnoxious guests next to us on one side; 2 different sets of guests, one of which was awake and loud all night when they arrived. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but maybe the next time they are updating rooms, they should install more insulation for sound reduction.
The staff was professional and friendly both at the front desk and at the valet service. The room was clean with comfortable furniture.

The brisket and fries were just okay. Fries were a little old as was the meat.
The property was clean and well-appointed. The view was nice. The valets were welcoming and kind as were the desk staff.

Parking fee
We stayed there for 5 nights. Room type was Quens bedroom with balcony. İts a very large room. Beds and pillows and sheets very comfortable and clean. Thre was a coffe machine with starbucks capauls. Location was very quiet and easy accesable. Stuff was very kind. Hotel was very clean and compact. We used pool by the way. The weather was cold but we can use pool because its warm :)). And also car park very easy and we use the vale. Vales stuff very helpfull.

I did not use the resort amenities and told the desk at check out. I was still charged for them. This information should have been included in the price quote from you and during check-in.
The room was beautifully decorated and the views were exceptional.

It's a bit of a walk to the main part of Mission Beach with the restaurants etc.
We had a room on the 15th floor overlooking the city and marina. We stayed in a few hotels over the course of our trip and the beds here were definitely the most comfortable. The pool area was great and our 11 year old loved the slides. We had drinks in the Red Marlin but didn't eat there as thought it was too pricey. Nice place to go for a drink though.

Pelican food was not great and overpriced and the smore kit is cheaper in the shop near the lobby and you get more marshmallows. Room still had trash in the drawers when we arrived. Not enough towels for 5 people. Tea or hot chocolate options would be nice in the room. Microwave or toaster in suite would help. $25 to use a toaster is crazy.

The bathroom was run down and dirty. The shower was pretty gross and it could have been much cleaner. The shower head was dirty.
Location was great for us. The breakfast at the adjoining restaurant was top notch - we opted to have this included in our room rate, otherwise the price for the breakfast is really high. It was a full buffet and great. Pool was nice, but consistently dirty with items floating in it (bandaids, clothes, leaves, etc).

There was dog poop along the marina walk and along the trail to the office, if pets are allowed on the property, their owners need to pick up the poop. There was a mildew smell to the room, the cleaning products need to be changed, and applied appropriately.

gift/convenience store was expensive. I bought some saltine crackers but they tasted funny. Looked at date and they expired in May 2023. Had to throw away.
Everything was great and I will be coming back to stay. Loved the grounds, room and the view. Staff was very nice.
