The staff wasn’t the most inviting and friendly. They put on a faux customer service front that wasn’t entirely believable but maybe it was just a bad night. With the price of the room I assumed breakfast was included especially with how the front desk woman made it sound while checking in, but it wasn’t. We had a room all the way at the end of the hall in a corner so the Netflix and tv would frequently cut out while looking for WiFi. Maybe just another router closer to the ends so those rooms can utilize the internet with ease. These are all minor things, the stay was acceptable and if we come to Rochester we will consider the Hyatt.

The room was very nicely laid out, bedding was soft, clean and comfy.

It was a holiday, but we were there for 4 nights, and there was no food. We had an expensive breakfast at Astor that was the worst and cold. Nothing else available any day.

Our room had a very strange sound coming from the heater in the middle of the night sounding like someone was sneezing in the vent. The chairs in the room had tears in them and it looked as though other areas of the room had been poorly patched up. We were at the end of the hall and the hallway was always cluttered with housekeeping carts, bags of linen thrown on the floor and bags of trash, it was difficult to get around them with our luggage and overall just looked unsightly, especially after seeing such a pretty well kept lobby. I expected a little more for the rest of the hotel.

Great location, very close to the arena we were going to.

I did like how the bathtub and the toilet were poorly cleaned. The bathtub had a permanent ring around it and the bowl of the toilet was filthy.

I loved how updated the hotel was and all of the amenities.

The area where the hotel is located is very desolate. This might be different if you are attending an event at the stadium, but during our stay, it was lonely out there.

The noise. The elevator ding was extremely loud and woke me a few times when the elevator came up. The AC made a huge chunk noise when it stopped and started. The shower head was eye level with me, meaning I had to bend to wash my head, I'm 5'8". Whomever they booked above me moved chairs around a ton and that was obnoxious. Finally, the cleaning staff just walked in my room on the second day. No knock or anything.

The view from the 24th floor was great. Room was clean. Tons of outlets for charging and lots of lighting. The beds were comfortable.

we arrived 10 mins before check in & were made to wait since it wasn’t check in ( I mean really ? mins before 3 pm ) . Their pool wasn’t open at all & no one at check in told us , the bar tender at the restaurant bar was rude and their elevators to the parking garage smelled like marijuana .

beds were comfortable & it was close to where we needed to be for our daughters dance competition

The hotel policy was quiet hours between 9pm-7am and in the policy they welcome celebrations after 9pm to use the lobby area. However, the room next to us was extremely loud past midnight. And when we called the front desk to ask for assistance no one answered the phone.

The location was fantastic. Check in was flawless and the front desk was super kind and courteous when we checked in. The lobby bar was a great place to visit at the end of our day and Nicole, the bartender, was terrific. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our weekend.
