To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is quiet for the most part. Security is good since the property is gated. The front desk attendant delivers outstanding customer service.

United States of AmericaManagement didn’t tell us that we had to let know that we didn’t need room service. Came back late evening housekeeper was in room only took trash and made bed. Microwave was very old didn’t heat up well and you can see how popcorn was burnt in it at one time. Refrigerator froze all the items in it. Need to update appliances and plugs. No toilet paper, towel holders, blow dryer or hangers. I need coffee morning no maker in there.
It was nice outside the court yard, plenty of parking and security gates.

United States of AmericaDidn't like having to take money out of my wall. Et when I paid in advance and I did not get anything reimbursed. I'm very upset!
The manager was very rude when I got there. I told him that I prepaid and it was a $117 and some change that I paid. And I showed him the receipt on the phone. And he said that doesn't mean anything. He did not receive any money. I would have to pay one hundred twenty eight dollars in some change. Also I did ask for a downstairs room when I booked an advance for the one night. Stay anyway which I did not get. I basically feel like I was robbed. I have gone to the website for booking.com and she no way to contact anyone besides this to try to get compensation for a $128. So the next question is why isn't there survey about booking.com?

When I arrived at the property. The owner was very rude and I he told me that it was not prepaid and that I would have to pay one hundred twenty eight dollars more even though I showed him the receipt that showed I paid a hundred and seventeen dollars alread. I showed him my receipt. I told him it was paid in advance but he would not listen to me.

Staff are professional and courteous and willing to accommodate. I always smell the distinct aroma of Tandoori cooking somewhere….makes me hungry….in a good way. I suggest they open a small tandoori bistro up front and I assure you the place would never be empty….
