Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWe checked in with another couple we were travelling with and we had booked identical rooms. However they were given a superior room (lucky for them) whilst we had a far smaller one. It was disappointing that our two bookings were treated differently. I chose to not complain about it as I didn’t want to spoil our stay but it was a bit galling.
The location was good and the restaurant attached to it was good.

United States of AmericaThere are AC and fridge in the room, a bit annoying. There is constant white noise from AC (it's small, so no way to install a silent fan I suppose), when fridge starts - you will notice. So it's not a quiet location by any means, so be ready for the noise from the street.
Everything was great - location, view, breakfast - everything you need for a stay for a couple of days. Garage neardby worked just fine, all the shops and restraunts are here and a beach is just in 5 mins of walking.

United States of AmericaSmall window in room had no coverings. Sun very bright in early mornings. I was unable to sleep well. I asked the fromt desk for something to cover it, was told they would send up someone from engineering. That never happened so I was unable to sleep well. Also in the bathroom the mirror is not placed straight ahead over the sink it was to the right wall which was awkward. Unless u leaned over the sink and looked to the right it was not really usable.
Location was great. Walking distance to most anything.

United KingdomNo Tennis TV channel in the room, despite during my stay Miami was hosting a Masters 1000 tennis event, the hotel does not think it’s worth having this available for their international guests and tennis fans to watch. This tennis tournament is show casing Miami and I think the hotel has made a big mistake not having Tennis TV available. The stained carpet in my room was rather a disappointment, gives the impression that no one cares about the rooms appearance. The extractor in my bathroom area sounded like a diesel engine when the light was turned on, I called front desk who sent an engineer up, he had to get a step ladder and disconnect something, I had only been in the room for 10 mins. Someone really should walk through and make sure the rooms are checked before guests arrive. Further repairs were completed the following morning, but a note or goodwill gesture from management to apologise and acknowledge the inconvenience would have been welcome.
Great location, near beach , shops, restaurants and cultural sights. Swimming pool a real bonus. Safe area for solo traveller.

GREAT location - famous busy road & busroute runs paralel with the beach, has many original art deco buildings. The Berkley has rooftop swim-pool & indoor gym with exercise machines. In front of entrance the patio has mature shady trees to protect you from sun, tables & chairs, Its outside eating & drinking here - its not run by the hotel, but letout to a francaise. Its for general public, not connected to the hotel, but it uses the hotel facilities for making all its food; waiter service, not hotel staff, very busy all day & evening with european & USA various foods, breakfasts, snacks, meals, cocktails 2 for one between 5-7 pm. You pay direct to the francaise. Inside the hotel you can eat from Hotels OWN menu, but the outside patio francaise is really the place to buy sit & eat breakfast - outside has a great atmosphere. Across the busy road are the main entrances to two large top-class luxury hotels which have extensive rich private gardens & pools, they face the beach. The Berkley directs you to a shady paved public pathway between the two hotels which leads you to this massive famous beach. The Berkley has a beach concession there, for its own hotel guests, providing sunbed & towel etc, all included in the Berkley Hotel stay. Distances: half hour journey from Miami Int Airport, also half hour from the Hotel to the Cruise Terminal (subject to traffic). I will stay there for 2-3 nights on my next pre-cruise. I am nearly eighty years old - a female SOLO traveller. Ann Adams from Essex England UK. March 2024.

United KingdomFound it difficult to get any information about anything! Ended up googling everything. No local information supplied which is promised when booking. No check out details given. Also, coffee pods provided on arrival but not replenished. Advised only first pods were complimentary - so the same for a 1 night stay as a 7 night stay?
Fab location. Room was spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Great hotel and would definitely use again (despite couple of negatives mentioned below).
