The hotel is not an option for a long term vacation. Its not very clean, the amenities are basic, so, someone with high standards shouldn't come here. Compared to other offers in Key West, it 's good value for the money.

The position of the hotel, right on the beach. The beds were confy, the breakfast was ok. I liked the fact that they provide shuttle service to the city center. The staff is also very nice. And, of course, that huuuuge parrot welcoming you at the lobby entrance. :)

The shuttle is too small for the number of people staying at resort. if it ran every 20 or 30 min that would be an improvement or they need a much bigger shuttle

The property added an unexpected resort fee of $12.50 per person, per day. This was an additional $107 that I didn't budget for. This would have made a difference when I was comparing prices on Booking.com.

I think the location was great for what we wanted to do.

1. Could not use beach at the resort due to moss & seaweed infestation. Would not have booked had i known this info. 2. Had to travel to other beaches. 3. Resort fees should not be an added cost.

everything we touched from the door on the fridge to the ac unit literally fell off when we touched it. of course they fixed it all and we had a good laugh.

Room was not made 45 minutes after we got there. Never found out what Star Dive Movies was even though we asked some staff members. Even though we knew that there were no elevators, it was somewhat difficult getting out luggage and bags up to the 2nd level. I didn't like how close my wife was situated to the Shark Feeding platform.

It's a cute colorful hotel! Loved the scenery. I enjoyed the amenities! Good for families with children! I did enjoy the view and listening to nature. Watching the lizards and birds. I loved relaxing in my personal hammock they provided. It was just outside my room door. We had an oceanfront room.

The parking lot was hard to maneuver in our truck. The spots were short and we ended up with a foot to squeeze by into the room. I understand the retro look but the bathroom had the original 1950's tub and tile. It could have used some love. Also a headboard would have been nice on the bed.

The room was clean. The breakfast was adequate. We liked the hammock outside the room.

The food at the restaurant was not good at all. Shrimp scampi was sweet? My family was highly disappointed in the on-site restaurant. I should have known when there was a lot of avaialability when other restaurants were booked.

Driving through the parking lot was tight, not a lot of extra room for cars to pass. The bathroom shower floor in the handicap bathroom needs some non-slip strips installed. The bed was pretty soft but was more comfortable on the second night. The shuttle service ending at 10:00 PM could be running later, until midnight, at least.

The resort was nice and convenient to Key West. The resort offered a convenient shuttle service to take you to downtown included in the rate. Breakfast was also included and was the standard light breakfast offering.

Funkey and fun, the property had the feel of an old Florida motor hotel on the beach. Loved the shark feeding and the tortoises, along with the ibis and the iguanas. hammocks on the beach in front of your room what could be better!

The room we booked was too small, without enough closet space for two people. The room had no drawers or shelves for clothes or other items. we had to keep our belongings in the suitcase. we asked for a different room the next day and were accommodated quickly and professionally. That room was much better and helped to make the stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.

The place was easy to find and I felt secure. The staff was helpful and cordial all the time. The food was good although we only ate there on two occasions.
