Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Netherlandsthe hotel adds a resort fee on top of the room rate and uses images of its water park to attract guests. However, the water park is only open from 10 am to 6 pm. Admission to the water park is not included and incurs an extra charge, though the hotel does offer one free pass per room for a one-night stay. As a family traveling with young children, we were looking forward to enjoying the water slides and lazy river for an hour or two, but due to our late arrival and early departure, we could only access the basic swimming pool, which offers a view of the water park but no access to its facilities. This was disappointing.

United States of AmericaDoes not have its own pool or hot tub onsite. Unfortunately it advertised as having a pool but we didn’t get use of a pool because as guest, you get use of Splash Harbour’s pool next door but they close it down early. In addition you have to pay to get into Splash Harbour, this room only comes with 1 ticket as opposed to it being advertised as giving 2 tickets. One of the beds is highly need of replacing. As you sink straight to box spring .. we 3 had to squeeze into the one bed that was ok.
The location was spot on, steps from the beach, Splash Harbour and restaurants!

United States of AmericaWaterpark isn't part of the hotel. Wish there could be a partnership so they could offer discounted admission to the waterpark with reservations to the hotel.
Was perfect walking distance to quite a few venues. Beach is literally across the street from the hotel. The Waterpark was okay the kiddo's enjoyed themselves, and that's all that mattered.

United States of AmericaThe expense of the water park, I wish they could do something a little more to help with the expense. We have a bigger family so it cost us quite a bit extra even with the 2 free passes.
We loved our condo, it was clean and the mattress was amazing. I loved how they accommodated us to be on the lower level due to being afraid of heights.

United States of AmericaI didn't like that we only got 2 passes to the water park area. We have 5 people in our family so we needed to buy three extra each time we wanted to use the water park.
Loved that the beach was withing walking distance. The room was clean and the laundry in the unit was very helpful.

United States of AmericaNeeds some attention and updating. Curtains in back bedroom were gross. We’ve stayed in a similar unit before that provided items for the beach. We missed having access to those kinds of things (chairs and umbrella etc).
Loved the size of the unit, the number of beds and bathrooms, washer /dryer, and the location. Quiet and comfortable. Waterpark was nice. Lobby with drinks and breakfast items was nice. Beds were comfy and clean and plenty of pillows.

CanadaNo hotel lobby, but an office across from the hotel. Felt like we had to sneak into the hotel through the parking garage to access our room. Parking only on a gravel lot across from the hotel, if you could find a space. No ice bucket or ice machine available, so don't have a cold drink. Pool in water park is unheated, and only accessible early or after 6 pm until dusk unless you have a water park pass.. 1 pass to water park per room.
Beds were comfortable. Location close to beach was good, and family members were able to rent a boat slip to visit with us. Jim McAvoy, Mariah and other staff were most helpful

United States of America1. Pool - Although our main reason for visiting this area was the beach, we did also want to relax by the pool. The problem there is that you have to PAY to use the pool! The pool is part of the Waterpark. Although we had 3 adults in our party, we were only given ONE free ticket to the Waterpark a day! In order for the rest of our party to go to the pool, we had to purchase tickets. The tickets were between $25-$30 per person a day. This isn't told to you until you have already purchased your stay. When we asked about the pool, we were told that the use of the pool was free once the park closed at 6pm. Then we figured if we got a pass each day and just saved them, our party could go to the pool one day together without having to purchase tickets. NOPE, they date the ticket and it's only good that day. Oh well. 2. Parking - The hotel is in a busy area. There is only a small gravel lot, it probably holds 10-12 cars. Other than that, you have to find street parking. We were lucky and got a spot in the gravel lot and didn't move our car while we were there, this was easy as everything is within walking distance.
The hotel was within walking distance of the beach, which was a necessity! We felt very safe walking around to different bars and restaurants. Overall, it was a good stay.
