Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilI thought breakfast was included. Signs in the lobby invited guests to have it on the rooftop bar. When I got there, however, there were only a few options at expensive prices, which was not very inviting.

United States of AmericaWe were in the 9th floor & the night club is on the 14th- our room was vibrating because of how loud the pumping music was. I called the front desk….they said it didn’t close until 4am and would I like them to bring me some ear plugs and remove my amenity charge….ridiculous. No water or glasses in room…mini bar looked as though it had been ransacked prior to use arriving (and no waters in there either). The room was fine but rugs were dirty/stained and room needed a good painting.
Location was great!

United States of AmericaNot the most accommodating staff. Didn't restock the mini bar when asked. This is a party hotel, so the rooms were a little worn out, but very clean nonetheless. Pool closes at 1 on weekends and then turns into an expensive club. Would be good to still have a discounted guest access.
Loved the location and view. Fun easy going environment at the hotel. Great pool when it was open.

United States of AmericaThere’s no space in the fridge (barely enough for two bottles of water). I moved a few things so I could put a bottle of water away and was charged. It’s better to act like you just don’t have a fridge and avoid the whole issue altogether.

CanadaRooms expensive for the style. Very dirty corner of the city. The room was very humid and i dont think there is a fan in the bathroom. There is a mini fridge with personal place for only a sandwich. Felt like a motel with modern art. Cheap breakfast. No attention to details.
Lots of restaurants around. Parking not so far. Its kind of well located to get to many places. Fast room service and very friendly staff.

United KingdomThis was my second stay at this hotel, and one of the main reasons for booking was because during my last visit I made good use of the 14th floor lobby bar as a working space in-between my meetings in town. It was such a shame that this space has now closed (and it wasn't clear on the booking.com information that this was the case either - pictures still remain). Although I was able to use Mr Purple for this purpose during the daytime, there was no option to buy food or drinks (other than coffee and pastries before 11am). In the absence of the lobby bar, it would be nice to have the ability to buy some refreshments in the hotel even if just snacks. The entire bar was also closed one afternoon/ evening for a private hire - it was a shame this wasn't communicated at check in as again it was a big factor in me choosing this hotel instead of others. Booking.com mentioned that the destination fee included welcome drinks at arrival - this wasn't the case.
The room was a decent size, very comfortable bed, nice desk area and good toiletries. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful (with a couple of exceptions who didn't want to be there).

United States of Americaour room was definitely not high enough up. we heard so much road noise, drunk people etc… while the shower itself was nice, anytime the hot water was on it made a very loud banging noise the entirety of your shower. we could here it from other peoples rooms too.
loved that the room was hardwood floor and tile. Bathroom door was stylish. beds were far better than many places we’ve stayed.
