Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

only request would be to put brighter lighting over the sink and mirror in bathroom
close to FSU campus when visiting college kids beds are very comfortable nice bar and good restaurant on premises in case you want to stay in

Parking. Twice, I found young adults smoking weed on stairs of the garage. Not a good look. Even as close to the hotel the parking garage was I still felt the walk was too isolated from anyone especially walking at night. They could make good use of some sort of security in the garage or in the driveway of hotel
The staff was extremely helpful. Management were visible and engaged. Room was very comfortable.

The dining room was where we had dinner and breakfast due to three breakfasts that were included with 2 rooms. Both meals took a long time to get service. Especially breakfast. We also had to ask the waitress how we receive our free breakfast that came with the price of the room. She had to get those from the front desk which should have been given during check in . Breakfast service took an hour an a half. ??? From seating to receiving the bill.

The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was absolutely fantastic and clean. The decor was updated and beautiful. And the restaurant inside of hotel was five stars!

the light fixtures above the bathroom sink are very dim. they should be very bright as in all bathrooms
have stayed here before. love the location, the staff, the rooms are big, very comfortable beds. restaurant and bar on premises.

The location was great. I stayed here a few days before school started back in January, so it was quiet and a great rate too. The lobby bar was great and comfortable too.

Only two complaints are that the rate is a little expensive, and the parking situation. But considering how nice the hotel is now, hopefully the management will use their high rates to keep the hotel in top shape, instead of letting it fall into disrepair like most of the other hotels across the city. Along with that, paying $17 to park seems like nickel and diming. That's not the worst parking cost I've seen, but come on.
FINALLY! A hotel in Tallahassee that's worth staying in. Very clean and new, everything smells good, everything is nice and shiny, everything works like it's supposed to. The location is very good - there are plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance, and there is a red light so it's easy to get onto the road. This "Collegetown" area is very swanky, so hopefully the hotel ownership will do a good job of keeping their hotel in excellent condition. Most of the hotels in Tallahassee are not good at all, but this one is a shining jewel right now. I will definitely return here over the next 4 years.

No cons.
Had many misses booking thru Priceline. This was a win. Staff was very nice room was overall clean and location was in the heart of downtown. It was a little confusing for me how how to pull in but once I figured that out it was fine.

Parking is off site- garage next to the hotel. Bed sheets were not changed. Had to call front desk to replace them. Our room from was facing the main street and it was very noisy.
Location is great. Really close to FSU and the stadium. Staff were super friendly. Walking distance to restaurants. Hotel decor is really nice.
