We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThere were signs the hotel was being remodeled. But from what I saw, I couldn't tell if the issues I witnessed were before or after the remodel. There were cracks in the wall, unfinished bathroom tile, sketchy sheetrock work, baseboards weren't completed well, looked like bleach was spilt in the hallway carpet, it felt like I pull the faucet out of the wall when I attempted to pull the plug to turn on the shower, buttons on elevator were loose and so was the back wall of the elevator. So I wasn't sure if the shoddy work was being fixed or if that is how it was remodeled.
The location was easy to get to and our vehicle didn't get broken into. That happens a lot with state Fair competitors. The breakfast was good and it seemed like a safe location.

United States of AmericaI saw the poor reviews but gave it the benefit of the doubt. La Quinta usually has very nice updated rooms. The outside looked inviting. Check in staff was a bit snarky but nice upon arrival. The next day, not so much. Needed a key card replaced as it was no longer working. No one was available at the front for 15 mins. Finally found a housekeeper to help get someone. Our room needed lots of TLC. Bedding was stained. Paint job on walls was not too great. Chairs had holes in upholstery. Bed felt wet. It could have been the air conditioning temperature in the room. Breakfast was decent.
Located in an area within walking distance to several fast food restaurants and a couple of stores.

United States of AmericaBath tubs were painted and chipping. The room smelled bad,tv didn’t work. The heater had a bad smell when it was turned on. Furniture smell like dog. There was people fighting and arguing outside for hours. Our vehicle was scratched up. Front desk wasn’t clear on reservations, check in was stressful after driving for 5 1/2 hours.
Location is great, but the hotel itself was terrible.

United States of AmericaThe bed had hair that was not ours getting there and front desk does not answer. There was no online notice of then doing a.c cleaning during guest stay and entered my room to remove the a.c and bothered my stay. I tell the staff about this issue a d they only offered condolences and that it was posted at the hotel, if I knew on the website I would have not booked my stay. I found a bed bug and the shampoo bottles looked like they where half empty. For the price on a one night stay I honestly did not expect to stay in something so unkempt. I checked out early and found another hotel.
The area is located off the highway very convenient. Housekeeping staff very helpful. They where able to accommodate my early arrival.

Just because this a pet friendly hotel doesn’t mean it should be assumed all animal lovers would accept bad conditions. We are still paying for a clean, well kept, room.
