Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandIt's pretty far away from Manhattan and unfortunately we didn't make time to visit neighbourhood. Felt safe but the ambience of the few blocks is not very inviting. Breakfast was rather monotonous, but I wasn't expecting much.
Nice hotel room, spacious. Clean bathroom and bedroom. Good AC. Helpful stuff and room service. Breakfast. Very good value for money in NYC.

CanadaThe room was super tight and there were many food options close by.
The room was clean, the price was within my budget, I was happy we at least got a basic breakfest.

United States of AmericaYou'll need more patience to look for parking if you don't want to opt for the garage (not affiliated w the hotel).
Comfy rooms, responsive staff, & breakfast was perfect for the stay. Close to transportation(s) for commuters, awesome food, shops, & local bar in the neighborhood!

United States of AmericaThere was absolutely zero breakfast each morning. Maybe some Luke warm coffee that had been sitting out for hours, but nothing to eat. That was a disappointment because it stated breakfast with included for free. Also we left the housekeeping staff $40 for a tip to come clean our room upon request (because they will only clean your room after your third night are you kidding me?) after the first night because we were busy and we lived in the room and it needed it. Anyway they barely cleaned it and barely left extra towels but they sure took our $40 no problem. Not very classy. Not very clean. They sure also did have overpriced cold drinks and candy bars and cookies for sale at the front desk. Cheap skates. Cuts corners. Not worth the 270 per night.
I liked the neighborhood it was in, Brooklyn's Chinatown, although not the cleanest area, it was safe and quiet.

United States of AmericaThe guy who checked me in was awesome as well as the day front desk agent, but a couple of others were just rude. When I arrived, it was very late and had DoorDash delivered to my room without an issue as I asked if it was OK the next day suddenly the rules changed later in the day I spoke to another agent to tell them I was leaving the room so they could clean it And she just stared at me like so what? Housekeeping staff was yelling in Chinese while they were cleaning the rooms and I had to step out and tell them I was in a meeting and I got yet another stare. If you’re like me, and expect to be treated as a paying guest should, you should check your expectations right now.
Very clean rooms are beautiful with high quality details and finishes

United States of AmericaNo toothbrush or toothbrush in the room, but can ask the front desk for it. The shampoo and shower gel doesn’t come in individual bottles, they are attached to the wall and refillable. The shower gel bottle in our room was almost empty.
Very convenient location, it has a parking lot right next to it (extra cost) but also has free street parking if you can find one. Room is on the small side, but looks clean and relatively quiet.

United States of AmericaThe cleanliness. It didn't seem as clean as the last time we stayed a few years ago. Many guests did not adhere to the please wear a mask sign, two were obviously ill with upper respiratory symptoms. Breakfast was limited and carb heavy.
We loved the location in Chinatown. The room was comfortable. Walking distance to everything we needed. Nice little patio out front. Friendly front desk staff. Beds were comfortable but might need replacing in a year or so. Nice little snack store as well. The dumpling place on 60th street, take away only is great.
